Lariana's ghost traveled to the middle of camp. She knew no one could see her, of course, and she never minded. She usually only listened after all.
But today she had something to say.
She wished they could see her as she bounded atop the great rock and sat, glaring at everyone. She wanted them to see her, to HEAR her.
She saw cats glances look in her direction.
"No-no!" she heard Sunwhisker say. She then smiled "So you mousebrains finally can see me eh?" she said.
She saw Bunnystar nod. "Well, you know i was the leader of the mafia group, but you may be wondering who was in it well.. I was ONE of the three leaders!" She hissed. "Me, along with Goldenstar and Deerstar. Yes, thats right. Goldenstar and Deerstar! The regular members were Breezetail, Sunwhisker, Acornfang, and Wrensight. The others who killed were Goldenstar. Yes, your precious commander! And youll never guess who she killed!"
Lariana paused as she seen the shocked glances, and Acornfang and Breezetail used this to step in.
"Me and Acornfang never killed anybody, and we never planned on it!" Breezetail exclaimed as Acornfang nodded. "We have left, Goldenstar too. We no longer believe what we were doing was right." She meowed, holding her head higher.
"We have changed, for the better. So, whatever you decide to do with us, take us prisoner, drive us out, kill us, just know we're innocent. Though we have done bad things in the past, we are sorry and hope you can forgive us."
"Goldenstar killed Featherstar! And as you all know, Wrensight killed Morningbreeze." Lariana hissed, to take the cats' minds off the two defending themselves.
A wave of shock went around camp, and they all sent accusing glances at Goldenstar, who sat calmly by a furious Sunwhisker.
"You never mentioned that Goldenstar left the group with me, and that she regrets every little thing, and that she has nightmares every night!" Sunwhisker snarled, quick to defend his new mate.
Goldenstar looked around, looking somewhat calm. "I regret my actions, but i cant take them back. i did something wrong, but i will make up for everything i do! Killing someone is a crime, and i take responsibility. But i will lead Turtleclan with Bunnystar, and it will be greater than ever before! Turtleclan will thrive under our rule." Goldenstar had stood, looking around with a sense of purpose.
Lariana shook her head, but Sunwhisker spoke up again.
"Oh, you also forgot a couple cats!" He snarled, his eyes landing on Hyenastrike. Cats gasped in shock as the tom put his tail protectively around his new kits.
"Hyenastrike and Duskfire are apart of it STILL!" He snarled, turning back to Lariana.
"And why didnt you mention who killed the poor innocent kit?" Sunwhisker growled, stepping forward.
Lariana's pelt grew hot with fury and she felt herself beginning to disappear, but was able to hear his last words.
"It was Hyenastrike!"
