Chapter VIII

Lily's POV

~3 months later~

It's been three months since Jackson and I moved into the palace and everything is great. Jackson's mom gave birth to twins again, Ivy and Jonah Miller, they are the cutest I couldn't stop holding them after she got out of the hospital.

Anyways, I'm currently in the shower, washing my hair and rinsing myself. I made a doctor's appointment for today because these days I've been feeling sick and different.

I brush my teeth then get dressed, you might be wondering where Jackson is? Well he's still sleeping so I have to be quiet so I don't wake him.

Closing the door behind me quietly and softly, I tiptoe down to the kitchen where Melissa has prepared my breakfast for me which is eggs, pickles, toasts and lots and lots of bacon so I dig in after saying thank you.

Drinking my orange juice after finishing my meal, Melissa grabs the dishes while I head to the medical wing of the palace which is all the way at the other end of the palace so this will be a long walk.

I reach only to see some patients but mostly nurses and doctors, walking to where they stand I clear my throat but no one notices me

"Excuse me, would one of you be so kind as to help me find where Dr. Smith's office is, please?" they all turn to me only to start bowing and apologising for not paying attention to the princess

"No need to apologize but please be more alerted okay, anyways, where's Dr. Smith's office?" I dismiss them apologising which makes them smile at me

"Right down the hall my princess third door on your right, would you like one of us to escort you?" I giggle at the female doctor

"No but thank you for offering anyways thank you for your time, you may return to work" they all wave to me making me giggle a lot as I make my way to the doctor's office.

Knocking on the door then pushing it open I'm welcomed by white walls and dark wood furniture with an elderly woman sitting at a desk who looks up once she hears the door click close.

"Oh, my princess, good morning" she smiles warmly standing then bowing to me

"Good morning, please don't bow" she smile brightly at me nodding

"I won't my princess so I see you have an appointment but I don't know why, can you tell me?" I sigh shakily while sitting on the high chair

"I think I'm pregnant but I'm not sure so I came to do a check up to see if my thinking is correct so could you please check me Dr. Smith?" she takes in my information then grabs a clipboard before coming over to me.

"I'm going to ask you some questions based on what you've told me okay. Here we go: Do you have cravings? Do you have morning sickness?" I smile at her

"I have cravings but no morning sickness" she make jottings on her clipboard then brings it back to her desk and grabs a container giving it to me.

"Pee in this, the bathroom is right there" I smile entering the bathroom and do my business then get out handing the container to her

"Take a seat and in a couple minutes I'll have the results" I get back onto the patient's seat and lay back feeling exhausted already which makes me sigh

Staring at the doctor I ask her to repeat.

"You're 3 months pregnant, though I'm not sure how no one noticed because your bump is kinda bigger than the normal 3 months I've seen before" I keep staring at the doctor who smiles
