Episode 7

* Knock Knock*

Nurse : " Doctor, here is Ms Irene and the document"

Doctor : " Thank you"

Doctor : "Nurse Elisabeth Please take of Room 104. It's time for the patient to get discharged today."

Nurse : " Sure doctor. I will take care of it. Please excuse myself."

Doctor : " Ms Irene, well I have seen you sitting at the waiting room for the past 2 days. Seems like Wendy is really important person to you. Is she your sister ?"

Irene : " She is...... - just a friend."

Doctor : " Lets see what we have got here"

*Doctor opened up the white envelope that was handed out by the nurse earlier and start to analyze the result shortly after flipping all the pages*

Doctor : " Seems like, this is the same as what I have been suspecting earlier on."

Irene : " What do you mean?"

Doctor : " Infection from the malarial I've seen some rashes on Wendy's arm and neck when she was admitted to ICU earlier. But I wasn't able to conclude anything since it's vague make any conclusion regarding the particular symptom like rashes and her high fever. As it might be due to other conditions as well."

Doctor : " But don't worry we will give her some medications for her to consume. She may remain weak and have low appetite now. But we have installed the infusion pump to deliver her daily nutritions needs and some insulin to boost up her energy. She will get better after 1 week about 12-15 days for her optimum recovery."

*Upon hearing it, Irene burst into tears. Seulgi sitting just right beside her was unsure on how to react as well. Seulgi pat on Irene's back then dragged Irene towards her hug*

Seulgi : " Gwenchana. She will be fine."

Doctor : " Ms Irene it's okay she will be fine just give Wendy few days to rest and she will recover as soon. You have sent her to us here on time."

*Irene couldn't speak up any words and continue crying on Seulgi's hug. Seulgi takes lead to speak up on behalf of Irene*

Seulgi : "Thank you Doctor. Is it possible for us to visit Wendy right now ?"

Doctor : " Yes sure sure. You are able to visit her anytime. I will get the nurse to guide you afterwards."

Seulgi : " Thank you. Is there anything else we need to take note of ?"

Doctor : " Everything is good for now."

*Seulgi and Irene stood up and bowed to thank the doctor and left the room as soon*

*Seulgi and Irene went back to the waiting room while waiting for the nurse in-charged to guide them towards Wendy's room*

Seulgi : " Eoni, are you okay ? Do you want to eat anything? Are you hungry?"

*Irene was looking downwards and stayed silent while staring out of space*

*Looking concern Seulgi have a little fun talk and chit chat to brighten Irene's mood*

Seulgi : " Eoni , manager told me earlier that our project has been approved! It's our subunit project ! I can't wait for it ! It's like a dream !"

*No matter how much Seulgi tried it doesn't work and it doesn't cheer up Irene. Irene still remain silent*

Seulgi : " Don't worry Eoni. Wendy will be alright. Doctor said she will get better soon. She will join us again!"

Irene : " It's my fault I wouldn't have let Wendy go back herself."

Seulgi : " No it's not your fault! This is something unpredictable. We can't foresee all of these things. Wendy is going to be alright don't worry too much."

*Just then, a nurse approached them*

Nurse : "Ms Irene. I will show you Wendy's care room follow me."

*Both Seulgi and Irene stood up as told to and follow the nurse lead.*

*As soon as they reached room 132, the door knob was opened by Irene. Irene looked miserable as she had to witness Wendy's current condition*

*Wendy on the other hand was lying on the bed having her eyes shut tight and remain immobile. Wire were plucked into Wendy's left arm and hand*

*Irene took the lead to sit down by Wendy's side while Seulgi keep the door shut*

*Irene used both of her hand held on to Wendy's right hand gently.*

Irene : " Seungwan ah.. I am sorry. I wasn't able to take good care of you."

Seulgi : " Eoni I'll get some food for us and I'll update the manager about Wendy's condition. Be right back."

*As soon as Seulgi left. Irene wouldn't stop herself from communicating to Wendy*

Irene : " I promise to take good care of you until you get discharged. Seulgi told me that our project unit has been approved. Red velvet will have a sub unit soon it's me and Seulgi. But it's no longer important to me. What is most important right now is to see you smile
like you used to be again. I miss my heater. All I want is my personal heater to get back to me to make my cold life warm and lively again."

*Irene started tearing up as soon as she ended her sentences. While shutting her eyes. Just then, Irene felt a warm and silky smooth finger wiping off her tears*

*Irene opened up her eyes and with her blurry vision. She saw it was Wendy whom was wiping off her tears gently*
