Chapter 6 – School Assembly Time!

[Your POV]

My walk back to the school was short and irritating. I hated lying, but having the assassin past I did, I had done plenty of it. I kicked a rock across the path. I was stupid. Maybe if I had told him the truth, he would have accepted me. Maybe he would have helped me.

I doubt it.

Yeah... Who would help me?

Spacing out through the rest of the day, I think I had managed to set the home ec room on fire during class. I could not quite remember if I had, though. Nagisa tried to talk to me, but I just kept my hair in my face and stayed in my head. I hoped he did not think I was being rude.

Bitch Sensei, the new English teacher who failed to assassinate Koro Sensei, tried to ask me say something about hitting on a man in English, but I was born in an English-speaking country. Either way, I ignored her and continued hiding in my head.

Laying in bed, I stared at the ceiling.

I was a killer.

I was not meant to be understood. I was not meant to be happy

Slowly, I fell asleep.

The next morning, I went into class. It was a warm day, and everything was green. When lunchtime came, everyone went down the mountain. Everyone hopelessly tried to dodge the plethora of obstacles blocking the long, grueling path. I wondered if the principal purposely set traps to punish the class E.

Okajima screamed, running down, having snakes tightly wrapped around his torso and arms and being followed by a large bolder. Luckily for the rest of the class, he managed to take the brunt of the damage from the majority of the difficulties.

I made it down to the base of the mountain with Nagisa and Kayano; though, everyone was out of breath and dramatically panting on the ground. I was fine and waited while they calmed down. Okajima still had snakes attached to his body, the poor soul.

We all lined up in the large assembly hall in a straight fashion. The other student filed in a few minutes later, also in a straight sort-of fashion. I noticed we were the smallest of the other classes. "Hey, where's Karma~Kun?" asked someone, but I did not dare look back.

"He skipped."

"Doesn't he know he'll be in trouble?"

"He said he didn't care."

"Oh."

Just then, our English teacher, Bitch Sensei strutted in. I could see the jealousy in the other class' student's eyes. She went straight to Nagisa and asked for notes on Koro Sensei, and when he did not reply immediately, she shoved his face into her breasts.

"Irina!" scoffed Karasuma Sensei.

"Why do they get all the hot teachers?!" complained a random student.

"Welcome, students." said the man on stage. I think he was the vice principal. "All of you should have your handouts now."

Everyone but class E-3 had the paper handouts. "Hey! We don't have any!" said someone behind me. The other classes laughed.

"Well, I guess you'll just have to memorize it before you go! Your class could learn to sharpen your memory!" He laughed along with the rest of the class.

In a flash, Koro Sensei appeared to my left, like lightning. He wore an odd disguise he thought made him pass off for human. A few feet above, hand-written papers fell into each of the hands of the students. "Whoa!" said a class C student.

"Where did that teacher come from?!"

"He looks weird..."

"Who ruined our fun – I mean, excellent." said the vice principal. "Now that everyone has their papers, let's continue..."

In the corner of my eye I could see Bitch Sensei attempting to impale Koro Sensei with an anti-Koro Sensei knife. Koro Sensei easily dodged it, but that did not seem to discourage the English teacher.

"Why is she trying to stab that one teacher?!" whispered someone, seemingly alarmed.

Karasuma Sensei quickly detained Bitch Sensei, but I felt kind of proud to make these kids jealous.

After the assembly, Nagisa and I went to go get a drink from a random vending machine. We collected our drinks and started for the base of the mountain.

Blocking our path was two dorky looking kids from class D; though, we could have easily walked around them. They ignored me and confronted Nagisa. "Remember your place, Class E."

Nagisa just stared at him, angering the entitled brat. The kid got cocky and grabbed Nagisa by the shirt.

"You want me to kill ya'?" threatened the student.

Nagisa gave him a serious stare, simply stating, "Have you ever tried to kill someone?"

Those words caused a fear reaction from the two Class D students, and the brat dropped him and his friend and he ran off.

"I guess not." I stated with a snort.

"Obviously." Nagisa said.

"Let's go back up the mountain." I suggested.

"Good idea."

And then we made our way back up. The path had already been cleared from when we traveled down, so it was not as difficult, thankfully.
