Lucy pov: To be back in jjs arms felt amazing, my feelings towards him were starting to become very clear to me. Since Simon was his best mate and him and I were close I decided to chat to him about me a jj. Convo: L: yo Simon can I chat to you quick S: yeah sure , what's up L: welll basicallyyyy S:.... L: I um well um S: ain't got all day jeez L: I have feelings for jj. S: I fucking knew it
I blushed and smiled a bit, Simon beamed. I knew he secretly wanted me and jj to be together or some shit. I explained to him how I didn't know what to do and how to show jj how I felt. Simon brought talia into the room and joined her into the conversation. They both agreed to keep my feelings a secret until I was ready. I made my way into jjs room, he was filming a reddit video. His eyes darted over to me and a smile crept onto his face. He explained that I could sit on the bed behind the tv. His tv covered most of the bed in his videos, we were going to tell the fans that we were quarantined together but we thought it was best to wait. Today was the release day of jjs album, I was so hyped for him. He had sick features and a lot of tracks. We planned to celebrate a lil at 12 when it dropped, obviously listening to the album.
Time skip ~~~~~ 11:47 pm
All four of us sat nervously on the sofa, talia was snuggled up to Simon and my legs rested on jj. Jj looked nervous, I hadn't really seen him like this since the fight, he almost looked emotionless. Talia explained to me that jj thought deep down maybe people wouldn't like the album. I believed in him though, when he sets his mind to something , he never gives up until he wins. All the boys were going off in the gc, getting all excited for jjs drop. They had heard most of the songs already but some songs like "millions" no one had heard yet. Jj had told Simon that millions was a personal song about 2 people. Verse one, someone he wanted to drop out of his life. Verse two, someone he loved and deeply believed in. This was strange to me, jide never really opened up to his feelings but maybe he was beginning to. I stared at the time on my phone, 11:58 pm , two minutes. The main gc was going mental at this point, they all were so excited. We had all agreed that when all this covid shit was over we would either go clubbing or have a party to celebrate jjs album. Then it hit 12.
Jjs management were the actual ones releasing it so we sat and waited while jj posted on his socials. All of us cheered and hugged jj, we were all so happy for him. Simon especially, he had been there since day 1 supporting him. The flat was filled with happiness, no hate all smiles.
