I've already seen the most beautiful star...
Right in front of me.
You stood up still, motionless. The thing he told you, it was enough to leave you dumbfounded.
Is this really a dream?
"Quit joking." You chuckled and nudged him.
He grasped your arm as you pushed him lightly. "What if I tell you... I'm not?" He's again focusing his eyes on you.
What to do now?
"Then...then.." but you couldn't think of anything to say!
He took a step forward and leaned down to put his face closer to yours.
"Then what?"
"Then thank you!" You blurted out.
You pulled your arms from his hold and walked away.
"Wait, (y/n)! Hahaha! I was just kidding!" He called out while laughing.
But that didn't stop you from walking away from embarrassment.
"You're so funny! You're making me fall for you even more!" He shouted out to you.
That very statement ceased you.
The next thing you know, Baekhyun was already standing in front of you while grinning. Crazy.
"Why did you say that?" You crossed your arms coolly, trying hard not to display your nervousness.
"Why can't I say that?" He imitated you by crossing his arms too and pouted.
You bursted into laughter as he copied you.
"HAHAHAHAHA! Why are you acting like this suddenly huh?"
"Ggap-ggapsong!!!" He exclaimed as he scratched his head while laughing.
"You're too funny!" You tapped his chest.
He caught your hand. "So we're compatible?"
"I did not say that!" you reasoned out and pulled your hand. "Come on, let's go home." you walked to the elevator and pressed the down button.
"Oh now you want to take me home?" he joked.
"Pabo, go home separately." you blushed.
"Joke again." he said, staring at you with his cute puppy eyes.

Walking home with Baek, your phone rang. Yes, he insisted you'd just walk, since you want to save money. XD
"Yaaa..."
Baek looked at you while answering the call.
"We're heading home already. Yes, he's with me." you eyed on him and nodded. "Yes appa, I'll be safe. Bye." you ended.
"Your dad?" Baekhyun blurted a query, tilting his head.
"Hahaha! No, it's Suho." you smiled.
He simply replied with an "Oh..." while bobbing his head lightly while looking down.
"Since when have you been close to each other?" he asked, turning his gaze towards you.
"Since gradeschool." Memories of Suho and you being so close to each other flooded your mind. With every little moment you were together, you just appreciate how he's been so patient and understanding in everything you do.
"You... like him?" His question surprised you and you felt a sudden stop in time.
Do you like him? Do you like Suho?
Do you like your ever loyal friend who sticks with you through thick and thin?
"I do like him... He's my bestfriend. Of course, I do." you quavered.
"Why'd you ask?" you retorted with a query.
"Because he likes you...more than a friend. I can see that." he kicked a pebble on the street.
"No. Just because he's good to me, it doesn't mean he likes me." you countered confidently.
"Just because he acts like a bestfriend to you, it doesn't mean he doesn't want to be more than just your friend." Baekhyun's tone became serious. And it is very unusual of him.
"You know what? I'm his bestfriend and I know what it is to know." Suddenly, you became uneasy to what he is feeding up your mind.
He looked straight at you and answered, "I am a man, and I know what it is you don't know."
His statement made you more distracted.
Should I ask him? Nah... Why am I even doubting myself?
Suho is my Myeonnie and I'm thankful for that. He's my bestfriend and he will always be. :)

Your mom greeted you with a kiss as you entered the house.
"Who was that cute guy who walked you home?" she inquired teasingly.
"Ma, he's Baekhyun." You shrugged.
"Come, it's already 8. Dinner's been waiting for you."

Savoring every bite, you filled your plate with more viand. Your mom sure knows how to please anyone's hungry tummy. She's just watching your every swallow and gulp, making sure her daughter gets satisfied.
"Ma, why don't you join me?" you offered with mouth full. You look like a hamster really. XD
"Dear, I just finished when you came. Anyway, tell me about that puppy guy." Oh your mom's a bit of a talker. :))
"Oh you noticed too?!" you stated, aghast.
"Noticed what?" she mumbled. Your exagerrated reaction baffled her.
"That he looks like a puppy!" you laughed. Who wouldn't notice that?
"Oh that. Hahaha! yes, he's cute. I just saw him. What's his role in my baby's life now, huh?"
"Well, mom, since you're my bestfriend next to Myeonnie, I'm letting you know." you cooed. "He's my..."
"Your what?" her forehead wrinkled.
"My professor." you whispered creepily.
"What?! He's young- Oh he must be too smart to have graduated--Wait why did you go with-"
"HAHAHAHA! Got yaa!" That earned you a smack on the arm.
"Ya, ma, I was just kidding." you explained, wincing on the lingering pain she gave you while rubbing your arm.
You stopped for a moment and stared at a blank space... "He's my boyfriend."
"WHAT?! You promised me and your dad not to-"
"HAHAHA! Ma, calm down, he's just a friend. Peace."
"A boyFRIEND?" she stated with eyes almost popping out due to shock.
"Nahhh..." you bluntly replied. "I wish..."
"Aww... my baby's having a crush." she brushed your hair with her caring hands. You looked at her and smiled sweetly.
"Ma, I'm going to college next year. It's not bad, right?"
"No, sweetie. He's just your inspiration." she said kissing your hair.
But mom, I think I'm falling for him...

After brushing your teeth, you went straight to bed. But as what they say, your dream's finally getting better than reality, and you can't sleep. Tsk.
Poof--- a text from Baekhyun yet again. *insert screams here*
"If you're not busy, can I ask you out again tomorrow?"
Your fingers traveled through the letters shakily, "What for?"
The next beep revealed him saying, "I'm gonna tell you something important."
"Why not through text instead?" You replied.
Not even waiting for a minute, you received his response.
"I want to see your face when I say it."
