Chapter 4- My hero

Laura is wearing the one with the Union Jack jumper.

Laura's POV
We arrive at the airport and as soon as Starbucks is in Alf's sight he is like a child and pleading me to go. We only had 5 mins before we meet Zoe and Joe in there anyway and I don't think they'd mind if we ordered separately. Alf being the gentleman he is payed for all of it and as we were waiting for the drinks we talked a load of rubbish. We put the order in my name as if we put it in 'Alfie' or 'deyes' people might recognise him. The cashier called out my name and Joe walked through the door followed by Zoe and a load of viewers. Joes viewers came and a lot of them recognised Alf aswell I was actually surprised to see some of them recognised me as Alf and I did a video together back in August. The subscribers didn't know about Alfie moving away so in answer to their questions we said Alfie was going to see a relative.
After everything died down we carried on talking absolute rubbish until Alf's gate was open. On our way we attracted more viewers and then the final call was out. Zoe and Joe said short goodbye and stepped back for me to say goodbye. Alf pretty much hurled himself at me and squeezed the entire life out of me. I felt for the necklace and I have it to him. He opened it and thanked me a million times just like at the reindeer. He picked me up and spun me round again just like when we were at the reindeer. Zoe and Joe let out an 'aw' Alfie and I both raised an eyebrow at them. He gave me his ring I always played with and he kissed me but this time not in the forehead on the lips. I honestly knew there was something between us, more than just bestfriends. A tear ran down my cheek and Alf wiped it away with his thumb. He walked away down through the air tunnel turning back and waving. I almost sat on the floor in floods of tears Joe caught me and sat me on the table so I wouldn't fall again. Zoe went in for a bear hug and I hugged her tightly like the nice hugs that me and Alf shared. Memories came flooding back and I felt like falling again, Zoe broke the hug and we walked back to the car park. I drove home and immediately texted Alf, smiling at every text.
I spoke to my mom and she said I could go visit Alf with Amanda, his dad and poppy and Sean. We obviously kept it from Alfie and I drove to Alf's. I met his mom at the door and explained, she adored the idea and especially as we would be with him for Christmas Day.
We booked the tickets and we were leaving in two days as we were going for 2 weeks and Christmas Day was in 4 days.

Alfie's POV
A tear fell down my cheek as I parted from Laura, I wiped it away as soon as I could. I didn't want anyone to know I was crying. I saw her fall as Joe caught her. As soon As I sat down I put my necklace on and started to text Laura she told me she loved the ring and she would always play with it and rub it. She told me she would never get it resized even though it was way too big for her because it was mine. I smiled and texted I will wait for you meaning that I love her. She texted back what do you mean but I didn't get the chance to as I had to turn my phone off as we were taking off in 10 mins. I couldn't stop thinking about that text. Rubbing my necklace.
