Tyler POV
Troye was sitting at the desk in the corner of the room writing while I was editing my video for this week on the bed. Every so often he would hum a melody or sing quietly to himself and I soon became to distracted with his voice to accomplish anything so I abandoned editing my video and closed out of the software, deciding that I could finish that later. I kept my headphones in, pretending like I was still working but really I was just listening to the angelic voice that filled the quiet room.
"So come over now, and talk me down." He sang and a sparkle formed in his eye. He quickly scribbled the new lyric down onto the paper and began tapping his purple pen against the desk along with the melody he was humming and I couldn't take my eyes off of him. He was so perfect, just sitting there completely absorbed in what he was doing, lost to the world in his incredible passion.
I sat up in the bed and adjusted my position discretely so he wouldn't realize I was here. He kept on scribbling on the paper and I couldn't tear my gaze away from him.
The way the bright rays of sunlight pouring through the window bounced off of his clear blue eyes like a diamond sparkling under the display light in the most expensive jewelry store, the way his soft pink lips mouthed possible lyrics, the way his gaze was focused on the paper so intently and the incredible concentration took over his usual calm and carefree stare, and the way his eyes were lit with a fire of determination.
His lips curled into a slight smile and I found myself mimicking the same action, completely obsessed with the small details that all added together to create the beautiful masterpiece sitting just a few feet in front of me.
I don't know how I ever got so lucky, or what I ever did to deserve someone like Troye to be considered the love of my life, but even if I knew I didn't deserve him I was more than happy to come to the realization that he was all mine. He was the one I would wake up next to every morning until my last. He was the one I would see walking down the aisle dressed in a slim black tuxedo with a colorful tie. He was the one that would sing to me until I fell asleep and hold me at 3 AM after I had a nightmare. He was the one that I would get the honor of loving until my very last breath and I couldn't wait.
I didn't realize I had lost myself to my thoughts until I felt a slight tap on my shoulder. I immediately flinched at the unexpected touch but as I looked up and saw the perfect boy staring down at me my guarded position relaxed and I smiled softly at him.
"You've just been staring at the wall for like 10 minutes Tilly, is everything okay?" Troye asked as he sat down on the bed next to me.
"Everything is absolutely perfect." I said with sincerity in my voice. Everything was perfect, how could it not be when I had the most amazing person sitting right beside me and Christmas being only 2 days away.
Troye just wrapped his arms around me and rested his head against my chest. I started playing with his thin fingers that fit perfectly with mine like they were molded for each other. Most people would get bored just spending hours on end lying with someone and barley speaking but I honestly loved it. Every time he wrapped his arms around me and claimed me as his I could feel my heart race, every single slight touch gave me chills and each time I smelt his sweet scent still lingering on my shirt after our cuddling ended I was reminded of the perfect boy that I was hopelessly in love with.
"Troyler do you have pants on?" Sage called out as she knocked on the door.
"If you don't that's okay we don't want to interrupt again." Shaun called out from behind the door. I swear his family would be the death of me but I still was almost as obsessed with them as I was with the little twink lying next to me.
