"Emotions are something to care for"

I strongly believe emotions are a very important part of a human being. Emotions sometimes are like flowers, they're really beautiful when expressed and shown but they're extremely fragile and can be broken easily. Once your emotions are unstable, your entire life takes a big turn as well.

Whenever I'm talking to my friends or family and there is something I disagree with, I always try to point it out in a nice way so that I don't hurt their feelings and make them feel like they were unappreciated. It makes me feel very bad that I may have given the person a feeling that they are unappreciated so I try my best to spare their feelings.

However, this is sometimes not a good practice. You're looking after the emotions of others but others may not do the same for you. When you do it repeatedly, you keep looking after the emotion and heart of others and disregard your own, you put yourself in a very difficult situation. Because you're used to that practice, it later becomes an obstacle and prevents you from doing the things you want.

Sometimes, it's okay to be truthful to the person and speak your heart out. This helps you express your emotions better and it also helps that person express their emotions. I'm not the most knowledgeable on this topic but I learned the hard way to not always give in to people's emotions and we need to have some consideration for our own emotions as well.
