Elijah walked in once Klaus was off the phone. "You gave her an out? - why?" Elijah asks. "Because Elijah. - I really like. - she makes me feel so happy. - so content. - just so complete. - it's hard to put into words. - I just didn't want her to be with me. - if she was getting all this hassle from Damon. - from Caroline. - I just want her to be happy. - to be safe." Klaus now threw his hands up into the air. "I'm just not making any sense." Klaus spoke. "You made perfectly sense. - I'm glad you are looking out for her. - looking out for her best interest." Elijah spoke.

Rebekah after hearing Elijah and Klaus's conversation. She swished to Elena. She wanted to put the past behind them. And concentrate on the future. Elena answered the door. Elena's breath caught. She started to get nervous. "Relax Elena. - I'm here to put the past behind us. - I'm here so we can become friends." Rebekah spoke. Elena calmed down after hearing that. "Come in." Elena spoke. She smiled at Rebekah. And Rebekah smiled back.
They sat down for hours talking. Hours of catching up. Talking about Klaus. Talking about everything. "Klaus. - he makes me so happy. - I just feel so happy. - complete. - content. - and I don't care about what everyone else has to say or think." Elena now spoke. "He said the same about you. - Klaus gave you that out. - so you won't get hassled anymore. - I say for the first time ever. - my brother is in love." Rebekah spoke. "You think Klaus is in love with me." Elena spoke. Rebekah gave a nod.

Damon knocked on Caroline's door. Caroline invited him in. "So how are we going to split them up?" Damon asks. "We pretend to date." Caroline spoke. " but in the mean we can be friends with benefits." Damon spoke. And Caroline now gave a nod. "So let's do it. - let's get them back to us." Caroline spoke.
