I felt so nervous. I fanned my eyes using my hands, trying not to cry.
"We're.. um.. dating, sir.", we heard Haechan say.
"It was about time.", Dad said as he laughed.
I heard Haechan nervously laughing.
"I think you should go out now.", Mother suggested.
"Oh, yeah.", I said as I quickly took my phone & a small purse.
I opened the door & saw Haechan.
He looked so amazing, his eyes, lips, cheeks, jawline, face, everything.
We both made eye contact. I felt my heart jumping around my chest. I felt my whole world slow down, again. Everything felt so perfect as if nothing would go wrong. It felt like peace.
"W-wow... you look... gorgeous!", Haechan said as he smiled.
I smiled, feeling embarrassed.
"You look handsome.", I said as I pinched his cheeks.
He giggled as I pulled my hand away.
"You better treat her right, or else.", Dad said as he held up his fists.
Haechan laughed nervously & I just giggled.
"O-of course!", he said, terrified if he wouldn't listen to him.
"Where's the confident Haechan I know?", I asked him, trying to calm him.
"In the car.", he mumbled.
I just laughed & we said our goodbyes to my parents. We left home. Haechan quickly opened the door for me like a gentleman would. I smiled & mumbled a thank you.
He smiled & closed the door for me. He entered the car & I heard him saying a small 'phew'.
"Why are you extra cute today?", I asked him as I smiled.
"It's just that.."
"Well, it's my first time dating someone-"
"It's my first time, too. So calm down.", I said to him & giggled.
"Okay!", Haechan said feeling confident.
I smiled as he drove away.
"We're actually going to my aunt's restaurant. It'll only be the two of us there. I asked if my aunt would let us be alone.", Haechan informed me.
How sweet of him...
I smiled. What else could ruin this moment?
After a while, we arrived. Haechan got off the car & opened the door for me. He gave me a hand, helping me get out. I smiled.
I just can't believe that this is the Haechan that I used to play with at the park. How could that boy be this man?
"Thank you.", I said to him.
We both entered the restaurant & I saw a woman comign towards Haechan.
"Ow, look at you! You're so big now!", the woman said.
"Auntie, stop it~", Haechan whined.
She let him go & smiled. She turned to me & she was shocked.
"You must be Y/n!", she said.
"Well, that's me.", I said as I smiled.
"Oh, honey, you are fabulous.", she said as she put some strands of my hair on my ear.
I looked down & felt so embarrassed.
"She is, indeed, fabulous, inside & out.", I heard Haechan say.
I turned to him as my eyes widen. We both made eye contact. His eyes filled with love again. It felt so amazing for someone to look at you like this.
"Well then, would you like to take a seat now?", his auntie asked.
"Oh, of course.", I said as I snapped back to reality.
She led us to a table. Haechan & I sat across each other. We sat there & Haechan suddenly clapped his hands twice. I got startled at his actions.
Suddenly, waiters came & started serving us food. I was shocked. I covered my face in embarrassment & laughed quietly.
I looked up, my hands covering my mouth. Haechan & I made eye contact. Everything felt so perfect. I felt so happy & he was too.
I wish I couls just freeze this moment & stay like this forever. I am in love with this feeling.
I felt like I became the happiest person in the world.
