He hated her. He hated her so much. He hated her to the point where hatred would feel ashamed of its existence. Her presence in his life was nothing short of a nuisance. Yet her presence was mandatory. If he didn't think up a new way to torment her or pass a snide remark at her, his day would go futile. She had become a daily ritual for him. "Wake up every morning. See Sanyukta Agarwal. Insult her. Have another battle." That was life for him at F.I.T.E. Even ranking wasn't that much fun now, until had something to do with her.

She infuriated him to the point of insanity. Everything that he did had to be contradicted and challenged by her. He wasn't responsible for half the things that she kept blaming him for. Although she definitely was. His well calculated life had gone topsy turvy ever since she solved Vardhan's problem on that damn green chalk board.

He had tolerated everything that she had done, so far. But she had tested his patience and crossed her limits when she spoke to her father that way. How dare she? She had sense of what she was doing? Or maybe she did it on purpose, just to show that she could.

But she was wrong. She couldn't. Nobody could. Nobody could behave with his dad like that and get away. He was Randhir Singh Shekhawat's dad and Sanyukta Agarwal made the biggest mistake on earth overlooking that fact.

His dad was his world to him. He was the reason that he still had his sanity and a little respect for women, although he detested them from the core of his heart. No matter what that woman did with his life, his dad had never let that affect his ways with woman.

But Sanyukta had challenged the same fact too. She had challenged HIM. She had crossed limits. She would pay. His pledge to make her life a living hell had to go on.

He walked into the library and almost stopped in his tracks when he saw her slender figure, tip-toeing to reach a book kept high on the shelf. Anger boiled through him like hot lava. Although some faint part of him told him to act rationally but his rationality gave in to the anger.

He strode in and swung her around.

What the hell...' Sanyukta began.

Shhh!!' he said and placing his finger on her plump lips he indicated her to be quite. Not a single word' he said menacingly. His grip on her arm got tighter and she was stunned for a minute before regaining her composure and staring at him directly.

How dare you say all that to my dad?' he spoke through clenched teeth. She struggled to set free and said equally charged, I didn't say anything to him, and it was a misunderstanding'

Don't you lie to me Miss Sanyukta Agarwal' How dare you disrespect him like that! He said his voice getting louder as he shook her violently.

She pushed him away finally having gotten free from his grip. He stumbled back a little before regaining his posture to face him.

She laughed sarcastically. Her eyes burning with fury and hatred for him.' Respect! You better not talk about respect. What do you know about it?'

He pointed his finger at her and said, Shut up'!

No I won't' she said screaming back louder, her hair tossing about wildly. Her features that of a fierce lioness, who was ready to kill.

I didn't do anything wrong, all I did was tell your dad, about your reality' she said almost spitting out the words.

You have no idea about my reality' he said and banged his hand on the table which had a glass case on it. The minute his palm made contact with the table the glass shattered.  She was startled for a minute.
