Izuku POV
I was watching over Hosu, just sitting on the edge of a building when I felt someone lurking behind me.
I turn around and get into a fighting position faster than you can say All Might is an Ass. I just so happen to be able to say it pretty darn fast.
"You're a quick one." a voice said from the other side of the roof.
"Of course. It would be disappointing other wise." I retort. "So, Phantom, hows it going for you?" the figure said. "Not too bad. How about yourself, Stain. Hero Killer." I say calmly.
"Ah. Just debuted and you already know me. Should have expected it though." he replied, seemingly unfazed. He starts walking towards me but I keep my guard up.
"Last I heard, you don't usually patrol in Hosu. Why are you here all of the sudden?" he questions while still walking closer.
"Can't stay in one play. Only fools do that." I state. He nods. "I won't hurt you. I actually just want your help." he says. I put my arms down and relax slightly.
"With what?" I ask carefully. "Simple. I just want another viewpoint." he says while sitting down next to where I was sitting just before.
"Viewpoint on what? Heroes?" I ask. "Sort of. You the infamous vigilante. I want to know what you think of today's heroes and society." he adds while I slowly sit down, making sure I'm about two feet apart from him. "Why do you care?" I question.
"I don't believe you're as bad as some of the pros think. But I want to know why you do what you do." he answers.
I sigh heavily and look down at the ground below. "I want to be a hero. But society told me otherwise. I was born a mistake. I was different. And the world hates me for it. My family and friends had left me. Because of my quirk. Or lack of one. When I was about eight, something big happened to me. In return, I received a curse in my eyes. I've been trying so hard to make up for my lack of a quirk. I want to be a hero, a true one, to help those in need. Help those that have it worse than me, or just help others in general. I want to help those in need. This world, this society that we have created is shit. Just because someone or something is different, we instantly shun it like it had never existed. I'm hoping that me doing what I do, I can be some sort of hope to others. Cheesy huh?" I semi rant.
He looks at me with a satisfied look on his face. "Good answer. Good answer. I can already tell that you'll do great. I hope I can help fix the problem with society though." he finishes. I look at him and smile softly, although you can't see it, I think he gets the feeling though.
"I might not fully agree with how your doing it. But, I understand." I state while looking off at the sky. "What's your reasoning for what you do? Weren't you a vigilante at one point? Pretty sure people consider you a villain now." I say quietly. "Yeah. I was but, they just don't understand." he says while looking off in the distance.
Damn. It's some dramatic scene in a movie. Fun.
"Maybe I will." I hint at. Hoping that he will keep going and explain. He sighs and looks at me. I just stare back, waiting patently.
"There are so many fakes in this world. People pretending to be a hero when really, they are just selfish." he starts. "There aren't many true heroes anymore. This world is plagued with fakes. I wish to rid them from this world." he finishes.
"Who or what type of heroes do you consider to be fakes if I may ask." I said. "Fake heroes. People who only do it for the fame and glory, or the money." he states. I nod and look off. "What do you think about fake heroes?" he asks. "I think that they are shitty people. But, I myself can't stop them in a whole. I might hopefully be able to make a difference. But they deserve whatever you give them." I say with a somewhat harsh tone at the end.
He nods, satisfied with my answer. "Can I ask you about some heroes? I have mixed feelings about them." he says. "Why are you asking me?" I said. "Because you have probably met them or interacted with them." he answered bluntly. I nod and let him continue.
"Midnight, the R rated hero." he says. I nod and scratch my head. "I have met her before. She actually helped me when I was at a 'near death experience'." I said. He nods and looks away again. "I was just getting mixed vibes from her. I thought it would be good to get your opinion." he added.
"You were a vigilante before. Why don't you know?" I ask. "I was a vigilante on the other side of Japan." he clarified. I made an 'oh' sound and look away in slight embarrassment.
"Who's your next target?" I ask, breaking our silence. "Not sure yet. Why?" he answers. "Do you take requests?"
