I walk for a little bit more, blood dripping down my chin, eyes glowing blood red. I stop to where the crash sight is. I wasn't able to see it before, Jace took me and changed me. The biggest thing I noticed was blood.

So. Much. Blood.

Bodies were sprawled out everywhere. Some with wounds so big it made me feel dizzy. So many dead. I than found the severely torn up body of Em. Her eyes were wide with shock.

Blood splatter around her mouth, her nose was bleeding. Their was a piece of shrapnel sticking out of her neck. That's what I found the most disturbing.

I kneeled down and closed her eyes. I leaned in even closer and licked the blood off of her skin and ever so carefully pulled the shrapnel out of her neck. I try to fight back the tears. I then lose it. I cradle her limp body and sob.

"Why? I cry out to the grey sky. "I never asked for any of this". I curse at God, curse at him for everything he has ever done to me. I then stop and lay her body down. Jace has returned, a line of red tricking down the corner of his mouth.

"Oh Jace!" I cry and run into his arms. "Shhhh, I know it hurts, just let it out" he strokes my long hair as I cry into his chest.

After a while, I just lay in his arms. His touch really did soothe me. He strokes my hair as I watch the creatures of the forest run by. I stare for a while longer. Than I realize something.

How are we going to get home? How am I going to tell parents I'm not human? My mind floods with desperation. I can't leave my parents with heartache. I can't runaway. But, Jace is my mate.

"Jace?"

"Hmm?"

"How are we going to get home?"

"I don't know."

I think and say,"come on" and grab a hold of his wrist and run. I run and run until the full moon

is at its brightest. I stop and sigh. It felt good, I feel as if I can go and do anything.

"Do you even know where we're going?" Asks Jace.

"Nope" I smile a bare my fangs in a playful way.

He teases me back and we chase each other. We laugh like the times we did when we were children. We then get back on track.

I follow him as he leads me through the curving forest. Faster and faster, everything felt like a blur. Then we where home.

It was dark outside, mom was in bed probably sleeping. How am I going to mom? This is going to be harder then I expected. I start to worry. I walk up onto the front porch and do the most stupidest thing possible. I ring the doorbell like it's the middle of the day.

A light turns on and I hear footsteps. How is mom going to react when she sees me? My short hair has grown down to my waist and has become black. My eyes are blood red. Will she even recognize me? I hear the turning of the doorknob.

"Who ever it is, go home your probably drunk" says my mother sleepily and annoyed. She the looks up shocked.

"Lisa?" She asks, confusion and shock crosses her face.

"Yes mom it's me" I say.

"Come in, you too Jace" she gestures for us to come in and we all take a seat at the table. The light stings my sensitive eyes.

"We need to talk" I say. I then let it all out. From the plane crash to my transformation into an immortal. By the time I get done I look up and see the color drained from her face. I don't think she believes me.

"I---I don't believe you" she stutters. "Show me proof". I then open my mouth and extend my fangs. I feel my eyes glow. I then retract them. I don't even get to say another word because she fainted. Well this is going to be a long night. I sigh and carry her onto the sofa.

I guess I will have to explain the rest to her in the morning.
