Mom wakes up on the sofa with a gasp. She comes over to where me and Jace are sitting.

"Mom?"

"What the hell are you?"

"I'm still your daughter" I cry.

"I'm May not be human anymore, but I'm still your daughter".

Then I thought of something, how am I going to tell the rest of my family? How am I going to coexist beside them? Worst of all, how am not going to kill them? My mind goes back and forth and I panic.

"Do you want me to show you proof?"

She nods and I sigh. My eyes turn a deep shade of red, my fangs extend past my lip, and my claws extend. She screams and starts to panic, I ask Jace to leave me and her.

"Breath mom" I say rubbing her back in soothing motions. She finally calms down and we sit on the sofa. I then feel a wet substance run down my cheek and realizing I was crying, not normal human tears, but blood. Then again, I'm not surprised about it.

"Your crying" says mom stating the painful obvious.

I quickly wipe them away and decided to reflect on what happened over the past few days. Our senior trip was ended abruptly when our plane crashed, everyone was killed, I was injured, and I became immortal. Not exactly a happy ending...

"Will you accept me?" I ask her timidly.

"Yes"

We sit in silence for a while.

"Oh sweetie, I'm so sorry" she said. She motioned for me to hug her just as I would do when I was younger. "Let it out" whispered mom. I bawled to my hearts content, letting the blood tears stain her clothes. I cried all night long.
