-----AN----

It's been a really really messed up week (*cue Hot Chile Rae*) for Dipper and Mabel, so I've decided to give them a couple of days to recoup from all the shenanigans they've been through their first few days back. Therefore this takes place the Monday after the party (which took place on a Friday).

-------------

It was a brisk Monday morning in Gravity Falls, Oregon and Mabel Pines rolled out of bed at exactly 7:02 a.m. excited to beckon a new day. The pace of her and Dipper's lives had slowed down a bit over the weekend since they got back from the bunker. Life was great for the little shining star as she rolled out of bed and made her way to the bathroom, speaker in hand, to take a nice cold shower.

She set up her speaker in the corner and quickly undressed and hopped into the shower. She then began to sing as Melanie's voice entered the room.

Robert Valentino's band was admittedly not doing as well as expected and him and the guys voted that they needed a girl to help with vocals. However since he was obviously not going to be seen in the same room as Tambry and Wendy was obviously not going to be seen in the same room as Mark, his fellow bandmate, they had a problem. So the young emo entered the Mystery Shack hoping to stake out the ladies and see if any of them would be good enough to join.

Mabel belted her little heart out from the upstairs bathroom "On my grandma's lap I'm drowning in her perfume/ Too-o naive to even ca-are/ bout the words she whispered while she brushed out my hair/ people gonna say/ if you need a break someone'll take your place/ people gonna try/ to tell you that you're fine, with dollars in their eyes/ Just remember!" She didn't know that Robbie sat, back against the bathroom door, emerced by the angel like sounds she was uttering when she threw open the door to go get dressed.

"Robbie? what are you doing up here?" she asked innocently as she stood in the doorway dripping wet and wrapped up in a towel. "Uh-um" he stared at his feet "would you like to try out for my band". "Not like I like you or anything, but we need a girl to sing lead vocals with me" he added.

He was not prepared for the sheer magnitude of the fangirl scream that surrounded him the minute he finished talking and speedily covered his ears in pain. "This is amazing! Of course, I would love to be in your band. She swallowed him up in a hug as he stood there, not returning it. Robbie wasn't a big fan of hugs, his parents gave them to him way to often when he was a child. "I've gotta go call Candy and Grenda!" she gasped. R smirked "next practice starts a eleven" he told her before she scurried back into her room. "Candy, Grenda you will NOT BELEIVE this!"

Mabel put her friends on speakerphone as she got dressed. Knowing Dipper wouldn't be up for at least a few more hours she didn't have to put her clothes on in the closet or under the covers, it was a nice change of pace. "OH MY GOSH!" Grenda bellowed "YOU'RE GONNA BE A ROCKSTAR!". "You could be the next Creggy G" Candy added in her small voice. "I know, guys! Do you wanna be rodies?" asked Mabel as she slipped on her shirt and finished getting ready; two squeals came from the other side of the line in response.

About a hour and a half after his sister had finished getting dressed and ended the call Dipper woke up from a good nights sleep. With a big yawn he hopped out of bed and began to walk downstairs for breakfast. Once he made it do the kitchen, he quickly noticed Mabel scarfing down a bowl of Smucky Smawrms with only marshmallows. He almost immediately had a flashback to when they first got that box of cereal after they defeated the Lepricorn they met in the forest.

"Hey Mabel!", she glanced up from where she was scarfing down her breakfast. "Hi" she took a bite "Dip" she took another, she didn't even stop to breathe. The young boy chuckled to himself, "why are you in such a hurry?" he questioned. "Band" another bite "practice" and another "one hour", she kept eating. Now Dipper was even more confused, "since when are you in a band?" he asked her just as she had finished her food. This morning" she said hurriedly before running upstairs, leaving her brother to stand shrugging as he went to make himself a piece of toast.

After Mabel made her way back to the attic, she carefully threw on a full face of makeup and slipped on her blue sweater with a dark blue music note on it. Then she ran down the stairs, tripped, fell down half of them, and made a mad dash for the front door.

Downstairs Dipper was eating in peace when Wendy burst through the door "dude did you hear your sister just joined Robbie's band?!". The boy was flabbergasted "what!?, if he touches her again I'm gonna-" Wen cut him off "dude, chill, why don't we just go watch". The young boy thought it over for a minute, determining all the ways it could go if him and Wendy showed up and all the ways it could go wrong is they didn't.

"I have a better idea" he smirked.

1)Anybody get the ICarly and SVTFOE references?

2) the song Mabel sings in the shower is at the top

3) I know that there wan't a whole lot of WendyxDipper in this chapter but the next one will be better in that regard.
