I had all chapters up until this one pre-written out of a strike of hyper-focus and then hit the excruciating speed bump known as writers block. Therefore, we'll just have to wait and see how this chapter turns out given I've relied on my ADHD to carry me this far. Also within the first two sentences there is a Riverdale reference ( yes I am in fact that problematic). I also would like to mention that the story jumps back and forth between whats going on with Mabel and whats happening with Dipper, I'm sorry if its a little hard to keep up.

After Dippingsauce had dropped his majestic redheaded fantasy girl back at her cabin, he sped back to the Mystery shack. Silently hoping during the entire excursion that he would get back before his sister as to not arouse any kind of suspicion. Thankfully he was able to get back, run to their room and pull out a Baxter Brothers novel before Mabel even made it an inch into the dusty dirt driveway.
* cue theme music*
Mabel burst into the living room and bolted up the stairs, taking them two at a time. The moment she hit the top step she screamed "DIP DOP! OH MY GOSH YOU WONT BELIEVE IT!". Then, tripping over her feet multiple times, she threw open the door and dreamily did a hearty flop onto her maple leaf adorned bed. "It was so fun" she continued, putting an emphasis on the 'so'. Meanwhile her brother did a sly smirk from behind his book because he knew she was completely unaware of him and Wendy's antics.

The very next day, the two were seated on Stan's easy chair binge-ing a five hour marathon of Ghost Harassers when Mable heard the dial-up in the gift shop. "UGH! Will you pause it bro bro" she whined. "Fine." he spat in response as his sis's eyes filled with glory as she left the room.
"Hello-o!" she answered, full of cheer. "Sup. We have practice again tomorrow night at nine, be there" responded the apathetic teen on the other end on the line. "Be there or be square, got it, bye!" "wh-" he was caught off guard as Mabel slammed the phone back into the holder and zoomed to the living room again. However he wasn't going to admit that, so he shrugged and turned to his friends "she's probably gonna come". "What do you mean probably?" asked one of the bros. "I don't know, she started talking in this weird 80's language" clarified the emo as he scrunched up his face, "fair enough".
As the shooting star plopped herself back next to her brother he questioned who had called, "oh, just Robbie, I have practice again tomorrow". "But you just had one yesterday, I'm gonna be so bored here". This gave the girl an almost instantaneous idea "you can always hang out with" *cue eyebrow wiggle* "Wendy!". His face then instantly brightened.
He spent the rest of the marathon thinking about going to see her again, it wasn't like I'd been a while, but he really wanted to know if she meant what she was saying when she was wasted. Dip knew it was wishful thinking 'she was drunk' he thought 'she couldn't have possibly been formulating idea's correctly! I mean heck Mabel made out with ROBBIE for carps sake!', but still, if not for hope the whole town would still be in a raging apocalypse. Either way he certainly was not planing on telling Wendy how it felt. "Fine" he huffed.
Mabel was thrilled for the next practice, absolutely ecstatic, and the fact that it was happening so soon made her want to shoot her grappling hook to the moon. Then she remembered her friends. Grenda and Can Can were supposed to sleep over tomorrow and she figured what better way to party hardy than come with her! So, before Dipper could ask what was happening or even think twice for that matter, she zoomed away just as quickly as she arrived. Right back to the home phone. Without haste she called up her besties and made sure that when it came time to go her friends would flock right on over so they could walk together. 'What a great idea!' she thought 'I am an absolute GENIUS'.

The next day soon arrived, and at 7:00 a.m. Mabel was still dripping in pure excitement as she began to glam herself up and get ready. She dawned herself in a neon yellow tank top (that made her look like the bright highlighter that is her personality), and a light jean skirt with flower embroidery that reached about mid-thigh. Then she snatched up her statement piece, a fluffy white sweater adorned with a treble clef made out of beautiful silver glitter, and tied it firmly around her waist. As she did so she made her way over to dippingsauce and placed a firm (sisterly) kiss on his forehead before bolting out the door to try to get on the porch before *BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM!*
Dipper woke up to the sound and immediately started screaming. "Mabel! What the heck is going on!" he squealed, very annoyed at his cannonball of a sister. "Sorry bro-bro! Grenda really likes pounding on things!". He sighed, 'might as well get out of bed now'.
Then he rolled off of his mattress and speedily changed before walking downstairs with the hope of seeing his good ol' main squeeze. Maybe they could hang out at the shack. With all of this running around lately, he just needed a lazy day, and he knew Wendy was perfect at those. Therefore, it seemed like a great plan.
~~~~Meanwhile with Mabel~~~~
"Oh my gosh guys this is gonna be the party of the CENTURY!". Candy squealed and Grenda banged her chest wildly with the passion a thousand suns. Luckily for Dip though, Mabes quickly shushed them and led them to the golf cart. The minute they were off of the property they instantly resumed.
~~~~Back with Dipper~~~~
After his sister and her boisterous friends had left the building, Dip went down with 'Lancey Hues and the Case of the Missing Melons' to sit and wait for his redheaded beauty to arrive. Sure enough, after a few minutes of 'silent' reading he looked to the door where Wendy now stood. "Sup dudes" she smiled as she slung her handy axe over her shoulder, and just then Grunkle Stan came from the living room. Upon seeing her weapon he remarked "I feel like there's probably some law against this... oh well." and shuffled back to where he came from. "So Dip how's it hangen'?". "Well," he started, "Mabel's having a sleepover". "Ouch" she laughed "hey if you need somewhere to hide out from the madness there's always my place, or hell." The younger teen smiled, and for a few minutes they just sat there pretending to read customers minds. That is until a certain boisterous gang of three dead sprinted down the stairs. "WE'RE OF TO BAND PRACTICE BYEEEEE!!!!!" shouted Mabel just before slamming the door and disappearing from Dip's view for what he assumed would be a few hours or so.
"So what do you wanna do?". The lumberjill glanced up from her magazine and put a hand to her chin, pondering over Dip's question. "You know, I've always wanted to get a tattoo... tick off my dad". The boy gulped hard as he vividly imagined Manly Dan beating him to a pulp. But overall, his infatuation out numbered his smarts "lets do it". He was really trying to sound chipper when he said it, but mid-sentence he choked. Thus sparking a little giggle from Wendy.

After Face-chin finished up with Wendy, she emerged through the dusty glass door of the studio and felt the breeze surround her as she stepped outdoors. "So wha'd ya get, Wendy?". To this little question she spun around and lifted her shirt just above her lower back. As soon as she did Dipper saw it, a Cipher Wheel.
On the way back to the shack the two talked plentifully, Wendy throwing flirty hints and Dipper ignoring them completely. This was mostly due to the fact that he had written off the possibility of her liking him, and he couldn't embarrass himself again. If she shattered his heart, he might not be able to take it.
However Wendy really was starting to catch feelings, and it sucked. Why couldn't she just have ONE close guy friend who she didn't date. Don't read her wrong, she loved working her way through all the towns eligible bachelors until she finds her Mr. Right. However it would be nice if she kept her friends out of her stupid tendencys. She sighed as they came around the corner to the shack, her having casual crushes on Robbie or Nate was one things, but Dipper was different. She knew she broke his heart at the bunker (which is why she left in such a hurry). She wouldn't be able to bring herself to hurt him again, the other day was a one time thing.
When the two finally made their way indoors Dipper tried to take off, but Wendy quickly grabbed is arm, spinning him around.
