Shay's POV

The last few weeks have just flown by. Norman has been filming alot wrapping things up for now. In just a few days we would be leaving for New York. I gotta say I'm nervous as hell. His son is the only person I've been afraid to meet. Their so close he's such a good father. I worry that Mingus won't like me.

Casey--Still nervous
Shay--Crazy nervous, what if he hates me Cas? I could never come between Norman and his son.
Casey--Hey don't worry he's gona like you. It might take him awhile to get use to it but he'll get there.
Shay-- I hope so. I really do love him Cas.
Casey--I know you do and I know he does to.
Shay--Thank you.
Casey--Your welcome man stealer. (Laughs)

There was a knock on the door. We heard Norman yell.

Norman--Anyone home?
Shay--Be down in a minute.
Norman--Ok
Casey--Staying with him again?
Shay--Yea
Casey--You practically live there now. Your closets almost empty.
Shay--Yea I guess I hadn't really noticed
Casey--I have (frowning)
Shay--What's wrong Cas?
Casey-- I guess I just miss you. You know Norman usually lives more in New York than Georgia. If he asked you to go to I'd miss you.
Shay--(hugs) We're a long ways off from that, but if it ever happens. I promise I'll come see you all the time. We'll call and FaceTime. I'll still be around for you.
Casey--Your my best friend always I love you.
Shay--Love you to always. 

We headed down stairs to Norman. He was sitting on the couch flipping through some romance novel Casey had laying out.

Norman--Hi baby. Casey
Shay-Casey- Hi Norm (laughs)
Norman--(chuckles) What's into you goofballs?
Shay--Not a thing baby.
Casey--Innocent as always
Norman-- I dont believe it at all(laughs)

Casey get's up to answer a knock at the door. I walk over and sit on Norman's lap. He's hands go around my waist and he's face in my neck.

I chuckle and kiss his head. He looks up at me our eyes locked. God I love this man so much. His slow passoniate filled kisses drive me crazy.

Casey--Kids please calm yourselves. (Laughing)
Shay--Wow nice flowers. Who sent you those?
Casey--Not mine their yours.
Shay--Mine? Norman?
Norman--Not me baby.
Shay--Then who?

I walked over to where Casey was standing and removed the card from the box.

"It was so good to see you. You have no idea how much I've missed you. See you soon love". xoxo Matt

My body went cold as soon as I read the card. I felt tears forming.

"Hey Shay are you okay hunny whats wrong?" Casey asked.

Her and Norman getting up and coming to me.

"Who's Matt?" She asked.

At the mention of his name Norman went ridged. I still hadn't said anything I was honestly scared that he knew where I lived.

Norman's POV

My blood started to boil just as soon as Casey asked the question who's Matt. I knew exactly who it was. My fist clenching at my side's.

"Shay hey are you okay?" Casey was asking her again.

I hadn't realized I had zoned out.

"Baby?" I said putting my hand on her cheek.

She had tears in her eyes and I knew she was scared.

She finally looked at me letting out a little sob. I pulled her to my chest.

"Hey I'm here baby your gona be ok. I'm not gona let anyone near you." I promise. "Don't cry sweetheart" I said.

"I'm sorry what is going on?" Casey asked.
