Shay's POV

It had been a couple days since the incident with Norman. He continued to say he was sorry multiple times a day. I know he didn't mean to do it. I did my best to put it behind us and show him I was ok. He had told me later that night about his and Helana's phone call. She was threatening to take Norman to court to keep him from Ming. Norman talked to a lawyer who told him it was highly unlikely. Since they did have a custody agreement she couldnt keep him away from us yet. So he is coming back over today. I know Norman is excited to see him. He's really been on edge lately.

Norman was sitting at the bar in the kitchen, watching me cook,when the doorbell rang. He goes to get the door.

N- Hey Ming (hugging him) I missed you kid.
M- It's only been a couple days dad (laughs)
N- Well thats a long time for your old man.
Ming tosses his bags in his room and comes into the kitchen.

"Hey Shay" Ming says taking me by surprise when he pulls me in for a hug to.

"Hey punk" I say hugging him back.

We both laugh. Norman is sitting at the bar watching us. Ming is asking about dinner.

M- It smells so good. Glad I came over.
S-Thanks its awesome I promise.
M- Do you need any help?
S- You could get plates out if you want.

Ming got the plates and utensils and set the table. Norman was on the phone with Jeff.

M-Hey Shay?
S-Yea?
M-I'm sorry about my mom. I'm sorry she's treating you like that. And I'm still sorry I did to that first day. I'm glad we worked it out. I'm glad dad has you.
S-Thanks Ming but you dont have to be sorry. I'm glad we worked it out to.

He walked over as Norman was getting off the phone. I hugged him and he blushed hugging me back.

"Hey whats going on over here kid? Ya hitting on my girl?" He joked with Ming.

"If I did she wouldnt be your girl no more" Ming joked back.

We all busted out laughing. Norman and Ming pretending to fight.

The mood in the house was so much lighter with Ming there. I was glad he was back. Norman was really missing him. The boys helped me get the table ready. We sat down to eat. We decided after dinner. We would sneak out and see a movie. It's hard for Norman to go out like this. So we had to plan ahead to make sure noone knew it was him. Once we got in the theater though it was relaxed. I sat in between Ming and Norman. As the lights went down signaling the movie to start. Norman leaned over kissing my lips sweetly.

M-Eww guys this aint make out time I'll totally barf.
S-Sorry Ming (laughing)
N-Ya sorry kid

After we left the theater. We stopped and got icecream. Casey called so I walked a little behind the boys.

C-Girl I miss you so much
S-Aww I miss you to Cas
C-Are you having a good time? How are things with Norman's ex?
S-Having a blast. Ugh the ex situation is unresolved but Ming is here so things are good rite now.
C-Thats good. It sucks she's being a bitch.
S-Ya it does. I'm worried about the outcome.
C-Don't worry girl he loves you he won't go nowhere.
S-Thats what worries me. I know he wont. It will kill me if I have to be the one to walk away.
C-Why would you?
S-Because if it comes down to me or Ming. It's gona be Ming. I cant let him miss anytime with his son because of me.
C-You know he won't like that.
S-I know but it would be better in the long run for him and Ming.
C-Don't worry babe its all gona be fine.
S-I hope so. Were almost home so I'll call you tommrow that ok?
C-Of course. Nite babe love u
S-Nite love u 2.

When we got back Ming was tired. He told us both goodnight and headed to bed. I sat down on the couch cuddling with Norman.

N-I love you
S-I love you 2
N-Do you wana watch something or go to bed?
S-Neither (chuckles)
