[5] Check Up

[Month 3]

"Ah, are you on your way here?" I asked, through my D.D.D.

"Yeah! I'm so excited~." Kerri, my friend said.

Today, Kerri is coming to Devildom to do a little check up, see if our baby is doing okay, she said that she'll be able to check the gender too. So, me and Lucifer were waiting by the portal, waiting for her to come to the other side, so Lucifer can let her in.

"Uh... Kerri, what are you excited for?" I asked her.

"Well, I get to go to Devildom for the first time~. And, visit the infamous House of Lamentation!" She squealed.

"This isn't something for fun..." I told her. "Once, you're done you'll go back home."

"Come on! Let me stay for a little bit!"

"I'm scared for the havoc that you'll cause." I muttered.

"I would be good!"

"No, you won't. Anyway, are you here?" I asked.

She sighs, "I am."

"Okay!" I looked at Lucifer and nodded.

Lucifer puts the palm of his hand on the portal, tracing the circle, causing the portal to open. There stood Kerri. Kerri walked through the portal, then looked around. "Wow! It's so cool!" She said. 

I smiled and nodded. "It's really cool, well... Except the first time I came here, I was kidnapped~."

Lucifer huffed. "You weren't kidnapped... You just didn't get the news." He muttered.

"That's what you'll say, and I'll say what I say."

"(Y/N)! Let's go and explore!" Kerri said.

I sighed and looked at her, "after I have my kid, we can go and do all sorts of shopping and looking at other stuff." I said.

"Really!? Do you think we might run into that demon you ran into years ago?!" She asked. "The one you had a huge crush on!"

"I really, really hope not..." I muttered.

Lucifer sighed. "I hope not too." He said.

"Huh? Or what? Are you going to be jealous?" I asked and smiled.

He looks away from me, "no, I will not be jealous." He said.

"Yeah, okay~." I cooed, playfully and smiled, then looked at Kerri. "Come on, let me take you to my home."

Kerri smiled and nodded, following us to the House of Lamentation.

Once we were there, Lucifer opened the door, and the house was super quiet.

Lucifer looked at me, "the house is too quiet..." He said.

"Oh, it's because... Hm... Mammon went to an antique store, Levi and Satan went to the library, Asmo went to some beauty store, Belphi is in the attic sleeping, and Beel went to go taste those brand new flavors at the ice cream place." I told him.

"Oh, makes sense. How did you know?" He asked.

I smiled, "I'm their best friend~. I should know what my friends are doing~." I cooed.

Kerri pouted and looked at me. "You don't know what I'm doing, and we're childhood friends." She said.

I looked at her and smiled, "I'm sorry, I'm too busy with these boys, that I can't call you. And, I'm asleep half of the day." I told her.

She huffs. "Uh-huh."

"A friendship is a two way street, why should I call if you don't call me~?" I asked her, and grabbed Lucifer's hand and headed up to our room, with Kerri following us.
