Palace of Holyrood

A day after arriving back in Edinburgh, Jack and Jackie prepared themselves for the leaving ceremony. Jack was mesmerised to see Jackie stepping into the lounge in a black, strapless ballgown. Her hair was beautifully done and she stood grinning at him, twirling in her dress.

"Wow" Jack stared. Jackie blushed. "I know what you're going to say" she giggled before Jack came forward and kissed her.

He took her hand before going to the coffee table. "I can't have my stunning wife, going looking slightly incomplete" Jack said before holding up a black box. Jackie gazed as he opened it.

Inside, sat a silver, shimmering diamond chocker. It boasted 100 diamontes and it sat elegantly around Jackie's neck and shoulders. She looked every-inch, the American Queen.

"Thank you bunny" Jackie beamed, slightly crying as she embraced her husband. "Well, I needed you to leave with style" Jack joked before Jackie laughed, linking his arm.

Together they took arms and headed out to the car to head for the castle.

Edinburgh Castle

"The President and First Lady of the United States!".

Jack and Jackie were announced and they made their way into the Presidential box, to wait the performance being made for their departure the following day.

The Prime Minister, had organised an early preview of the Edinburgh Miltary Tattoo for the First Couple. The Tattoo which was due to be performed in August, had been rehearsed early for the First Couple to watch.

Captivated by the whole experience, not a word was exchanged the whole night. Every now and then, Jack and Jackie would comment on the performances or the miltary attire but no long conversations were made.

Around the early hours, the Tattoo finished and Jack and Jackie headed back to the palace.

Jackie collapsed onto the bed before Jack slackened off his tie. "I'm exhausted" Jackie sighed before taking off her choker. Jack nodded while yawning.

"Get some sleep before the flight back tomorrow" he said, before kissing his wife's cheek. Jackie smiled before she began to get settled for the night.
