Chapter VII

Seriously? I woke up and again, white ceiling and white walls. When will I ever stop coming to the infirmary? This is the third time but when I looked at my bedside there was no one. 

"Theria over here." I looked towards the bed on my right where the voice was coming from and I saw Nolan. 

"Nolan! What happened to you?" I asked. 

"Remember when I said you busted a rib? Apparently you busted two. Telios is on your other side." 

"What?!" I turned to the left bed and saw Telios looking at me, behind me actually signalling Nolan to cut it out. When he realised I was already halfway turned and that I could see him, he stopped. 

"What are you doing here?" I asked again to a different person. 

"You cut quite deep and I can't really carry anything remotely heavy on this arm for a week," he explained. I groaned. 

"Sorry," I mumbled as I turned back to face the ceiling. 

"I'm sorry, what did you say." I turned to Nolan and saw him grinning and putting his hand to his ear as if he can't hear properly. 

"You heard me, I'm not repeating myself," I growled. They both just chuckled. Gods they were so irritating. 

"Nurse?" I called out. She immediately rushed in. 

"Yes Ms Anemos? Is there anything you need?" 

"Could I have a glass of water and preferably another room? I can't stand these two." I said and pointed at the two boys who started laughing really hard. The nurse laughed silently and went to pour a glass of water for me. 

"Here is your glass or water Ms Anemos but I'm afraid that I can't change rooms for you," the nurse said. 

I cursed in my head but thanked her anyway. When the doctor came in and told me what was wrong with me, I just stared, from the shock. 

Not the shock of the injury or how bad it was, apparently I twisted my knee and fractured it from the impact of landing after the jumping back thrust. No, it was the fact that I couldn't walk without crutches and a cast for 2 months. 

"2 months?" I asked numbly. 

How was I going to participate in the war games? How were Nolan and Telios going to participate too? Nolan's ribs were going to take a month to heal and Telios' cut was going to take 2 to 3 weeks to heal completely. The boss came in shortly after the doctor left. 

"Mr Eidos, Mr Mcquoid, and Ms Anemos! How did you get all these injuries? I'll have to push back the war games further and the others will not be happy. After your injuries have healed, all three of you only have 3 days to get in shape and do not fight with one another until the games start. Do you understand me?" We all nodded quickly. 

"Now let me guess. Eleftheria's injury was from Telios because Nolan would never break anybody's bones in a friendly fight. But then Telios and Nolan sparred, that's why there is a really deep cut on Telios' left arm and 2 broken ribs on Nolan am I right?" Mr Li Diavolo said. 

"Sire, you were right about the broken knee from Telios but Telios and I never sparred," Nolan said. 

Mr Li Diavolo's eyes bugged out. 

"You did this to them? My two best fighters? How? Who won?" he asked in shock as he pointed towards me. 

I blushed and looked down. "Sir she won against both of us," Telios replied.
