Timmy and I took our seats in the second row of the massive theater. I truly was in awe. How in the hell did I end up here? I glanced around me, seeing all the names of the most famous actors in the industry; from Leo Dicaprio, Brad Pitt, hell- even Meryl Streep was a few seats down from us. I could sense Timothée's nervousness, but he did an amazing job hiding it. Timothée's mother was sat on the other side of him as well.
"You have no reason to nervous, babe. You got this in the bag! It'll be your first Oscar of many, I promise." I assured him, holding his hand. He smiled, looking at me.
"Thanks baby, but I wouldn't be so sure. I mean, look at who I'm nominated against. Jake Gyllenhaal, Chris Evans, Joaquin Phoenix, I mean... the odds are definitely stacked against me."
"Hey! No son of mine is going to doubt his capabilities. No matter what happens tonight, you're a winner in our hearts." Nicole said, bringing him in for a hug. Soon enough, the lights dimmed and the 2021 Oscars began.

An hour or so passed, and Fatal Judgement was absolutely sweeping every category it was nominated for. I wasn't shocked of course, it was one of the best movies I had ever seen, even though I may be biased considering my boyfriend is the lead. Zendaya graced the stage, announcing that she would be revealing the winner of the next category: Best Actor. She went through all of the nominees, clips of each actors role playing afterwards. The audience erupted in applause and screams when Timmy's played. He smiled, bashfully ducking his head with pink cheeks.
"And the Oscar goes to.... Timothée Chalamet in Fatal Judgement!" Zendaya screamed, the theater exploding in applause. I jumped out of my seat with a huge smile on my face, jumping up and down. Timmy was sat in his seat, shocked while Nicole and I pulled him out of his chair. Nicole hugged him, kissing him on each cheek with tears in her eyes. Timothée turned to me, and I stood on my toes, connecting our lips with his face between my hands.
"I am so so proud of you!" I said, his gaze teary.
"I love you so much, baby." He said, kissing me again.
"I love you too, now get up there!"
