"How long do you think the terrorist has been among your ranks." the colonel asks, stroking his chin.
It hasn't even been a day since lucky tried to murder me. The facts are sinking in. when did this imposter murder my friend. Wait... The island! How would they know that we were coming other than they were tipped off by an inside man.
"Lucas?" The colonel says.
"Yeah, uh, sorry. I think it's before the OP on the island off the coast of the Middle East when the plane was hit. the man who murdered lucky tipped them off." I say.
"Alright that gives us a timeframe of about two months from that date to when this campaign started." He says thoughtfully.
Suddenly a thought hits me like a drunk driver.
"Sir if this man has been at our camp for that long he probably have the location of this base to the terrorists and that's why he wanted to get out of here now!" I say in horror.
The colonel leaps to his feet and starts punching numbers into the phone.
"GET EVERYONE SUITED UP AND READY FOR THE FIGHT OF THEIR LIVES!" The colonel screams into the phone.
Suddenly Megan bursts through the door and explosion booms outside.
Too late.
I run outside following Megan's lead. I follow her too the hospital building where she seems to have set up a home base. beans and six pack lay unconscious on hospital beds in the beck of the room, while the front is completely barricaded. Loki licks beans hand that hangs over the side of his bed, waiting for him to wake up.
"They can fight us like men, but they won't take our weak." she says seriously.
"Oorah." I respond.
This is gonna be one hell of a fight.
