I'm Stuck. ~Patton 2020

chapter three, Some of the past.

"Why...Why can't we get along like we used to?" Patton said bringing up the past.

That sweet, Sweet past. When Roman and Remus could never be apart. They would play all day long, then they met Patton and their life got even brighter! Or well, Remus' world at least. although Roman was his best friend, Patton always made Remus feel happy, like he was actually something and not just some mistake, an Machiavellian child or an evil person. Patton made him feel like he had a place in this world and/or was needed. Like he was loved, unlike his parents. They didn't hate him but they differently liked Roman a lot more. Always giving him treats, toys and anything he wanted. Though at that time Roman would always help Remus, gave him some brotherly love but that changed when they found out what they were. You see, If you aren't a citizen, your parents can easily tell what you are. Now you may be asking "How does that make Roman hate Remus?" Or the other way around, Well, When you're in school one of the biggest things they teach is 'Villains are always bad.' But Remus never thought that. In his mind, the heroes were the bad guys. They never saw the villains part of the story, Just tried to fight and kill them. Everyone hated the villains, Though Remus never told anyone that he didn't like them. As they grew up Roman got more noticed, Remus got pushed aside more, but thankfully Patton never forgot about him. Always checking up on him, making sure he was okay and taking care of him. Then the day came, the day were you know what you are. Roman, Logan and Patton, His Patton now hated Janus,Virgil and himself. Remus tried talking with his brother but that got them into a fight. After that day, No one knew they were brothers other than themselves, Their dead parents and Patton. Remus realized that no one liked him once Virgil and Janus left him. He became more callous towards people, but also drawing less attention to himself. He doesn't attack the heroes, he Can't attack the heroes, in fear that he'll lose Patton. What they both never knew was how much they loved each other.
