"What... What are you doing here?" Remus asked as he looked down at the tinier man. "To tease me? Push me around?" Remus asked sounding annoyed that anyone was there is the first place.
"What? No,No!I just..I know you would be alone so I thought, i'd bring you a gift and an offer.." Patton said bringing out some cookies. Remus looked at him then rolled his eyes.
"What kind of offer?" He asked, slowly taking one of the cookies.
"Well.. I came to offer you a place on the hero team!" Patton said happily. Remus glared at him, like he was joking. He must be, No wanted Remus. That was quite clear.
"Umm.... What? Are you kidding me? Me, A hero?" Remus said then gave a sarcastic laugh. "Mhm... Because everyone wants to be a hero." He said madly.
Pattons face seemed to fall, his smile faltering. "I just thought-" Remus cut him off.
"Good one pat.... Very funny.... No one wants me, that's clear to me... Just.... Just leave me alone.." Remus said turning away to go back into his castle.
Patton grabbed onto Remus' hand. "Wait! I want you!" He said, Cheeks a bit pink.
Remus stopped and blushed a bit. He turned to Patton, His face now softened. "R-really...?" He asked looking like he was about to cry.
Patton nodded, Looking up at him. "Really."
Remus was smiling a bit then from the corner of his eye he saw someone he knew. Someone he hated from the beginning, Roman Prince.
"Patton! Get over here right now!" Roman yelled.
Patton turned around, Eyes wide with shock as he dropped the tin of cookies on the ground. "Roman I-"
"I said get over here! N-" Roman said before getting cut off by Remus.
"One, He doesn't have to listen to you and two I wasn't gonna say yes either way. Because you're there." Remus said.
Patton looked conflicted, standing between the man he loved and his best friend.
Roman looked at Remus with anger.
"So?! Patton shouldn't have came here! Neither should he have offered you that! You'll never belong with the heroes!" Roman said, knowing that would hurt Remus. Remus just glared at him then started to turn back to his castle.
"Why not Roman..? He has the same right as you do... Since you two are practically the same." Patton said, that made Remus turn back to look at Patton. Rage felled their eyes, as they said in unison,
"We Are Not The Same!" They glared at each other with anger. Patton flinched when they yelled.
"you two are brothers... You two should love each other..!"Patton said with a shaky tone in his voice. Remus was now annoyed, not just with Roman, But now with Patton, his Patton. "Why... Why can't we all get along like we use to?" Patton said, bringing up the past.
