Alfie's POV:

I had called Zoe muliple times. I had accidentally fallen asleep when I was supposed to skype her. Marcus told me he had made sure to let her know but I felt bad. After 6 tries I decided she was either mad at me and didn't want to talk, or she was out with someone. Truthfully I preferred the first. The doorbell rung.

"Alfie mate can you get that" Marcus said from down the hall.

"You're closer you get it"

I heard Marcus groan but he got up and got it anyway. Then I heard a knock outside my door.

"Who was it Marcus?" I said turning around.

It was then I saw Chai. He was my best friend all through school and even though it had only been a week since I saw him I ran over and hugged him. 

"I called him so you'd stop trying to call Zoe" Marcus said from behind Chai.

"Alfie you've got it bad don't you."

"Oh shut up both of you. Let's go get Nandos."

Of course there was no objections from any of them Nandos was too good. We had all been chatting and eating for an hour when my phone had begun incessantly ringing. It was Zoe. I couldn't pick up because that was rude but also I knew I was turning bright red and smiling ridiculously and I didn't want her seeing that. Marcus and Chai eyed me suspiciously so I showed them my phone and they looked at me knowingly. Finally it stopped ringing but I decided to shoot Zoe a text.

-3 hours later-

I was finally home, Chai had gone back to his flat and I could finally skype Zoe so that's what I did. She answered almost immediately.

"Hey Alf" she said looking half asleep.

"Hey little one, did I wake you?"

"Oh no, I was just watching X Factor."

I chuckled. "So when are you up for filming our collab?"

"Well I don't want to be rude.... and I know this is short notice but... can we film tomorrow?"

"Haha eager to see me huh?" I said giving her an eye roll.

"Oh come on no I just have plans for the next two weeks and I don't have a video lined up for this Sunday and I'm not planning on missing this Sunday. It was just an idea, you can say no."

"Zoe I would love to do it tomorrow just be sure to be ready. I'll bring all my equipment and you bring... well your makeup ya?"

"Okay Alf, I am actually quite tired, see you tomorrow?"

"Tomorrow Zo, night"

"Night"

After that I knew it'd be near impossible to sleep, but I went to tell Marcus goodnight anyway. 

"Hey Marcus night mate, oh and I'm filming with Zoe tomorrow so I'll be out okay?"

"Ya mate I could hear your skype call through the wall. Sleep well Alfie."

After that I had gone back into my room but I couldn't sleep, so I decided to tidy my room a bit. Despite my appearance I was actually quite a clean living guy, everything needed to be in it's place. After I cleaned everywhere I climbed into bed in my boxers, and tried sleeping. Still to no avail. It was going to be a long night.
