Alfie's POV:
Zo hadn't been talking to me much since the collab and I had gotten anxious. I thought I had done something wrong. That night I had enough. I skyped her as soon as she got home.
Just seeing her face soothed the ache I had in my head and in my chest. She mouthed something and it sure as hell looked like she said 'I love you' but I was sure it was my imagination. Zoe was like the princess and I was the toad, she would never love me.
"So little one, why do you have such a tired look on your face?"
"I'm not tired Alf" but she yawned right after saying that giving her away.
"Oh little one, you should really be off to bed. It's not good to stay up girls do need their beauty rest. That's what my sister Poppy always says."
Truly I didn't want her to go I hadn't talked to her much at all this week but I also didn't want to be the reason she stayed up so late. I know girls get cranky when they don't sleep enough.
"Honestly Alf I'm alright it's just I was driving a lot today, and I filmed a lot too so I'm just a bit worn out... but I wanted to talk to you."
My heart melted hearing that from her lips 'say it one more time'
"What'd you say Alfie?"
Oh crap.
"Nothing I just wanted to talk to you too. Hey when can we hang out again?"
"Alfie, we are hanging out next week remember or did you already forget?"
The little smile on her face made me want to kiss her even more right then. I would do anything to get her to smile like that forever.
"Uh- sorry what little one?"
I had completely forgotten what she had asked me. I had to stop spacing out.
"Did you forget about meeting Louise?"
"Oh no of course not I need to meet her Zo!"
"Good I'm glad."
It was then that Zoe had started to fall asleep and part of me wanted to stay on the call so I could watch her, but I knew that was far too creepy so I said,
"Goodnight little one x"
And ended the call. Right after that moment I took to twitter to tweet out some lyrics from my favorite song 'Nothing' By Lewis Watson. It read:
'@Pointlessblog: I'd be more of a morning person, if I got to wake up next to you x"
