I spun around, my heart beating as fast as if I were on gym.
"Who are you? How do you know my name?" My hand floated near my pocket that held my cellphone. The man had white pants, a navy blue shirt and a long white coat.
"I'm your worst nightmare, and your friends told me a little bit about you." He said, tossing a photograph to my feet. "Go ahead, take a peek." I swiftly bent down and picked it up.
"How do you know these are my friends not just random people." I asked, studying the faces.
"That photo was taken here, and it's very recent." He snapped his fingers and three more men appeared behind him, three people struggling to run from their fierce grasp.
Logan.
Jake.
Claire.
"No! Lil'! Don't! It's a trap!" yelled Logan as he tried to fight his way of the guard's grip, but only got kicked in the shins.
"If you want to see your siblings again, you would cooperate with us" said the photograph man. I did not know whether to attack or run away.
"Run! They'll bond your hands!" yelled Claire, her enemy covering her mouth.
Just as much as I was confused on what was happening, I knew I had to somehow, in some way, save them. I slipped my hand to the side pocket of my backpack and fiddled around in search for some special items. Where are they?! I finally found what I was looking for.
"If you want me then come and get me!" I exclaimed, then ran off, being followed by the three guards. I know these halls very well, and this school is large enough to play Catch Me If You Can.
"I'll be back, don't do anything out of line. I have to get her, we can find the other three later. Come." said the man, then the pack is scientists quickly ran around the school walls.
As I kept on running, I kept on hiding and planned to attack them with my pocket knife.
"Over here!" I yelled at the three guards.
"Get her!" one of the guards said to the other two. I took off running to plan my next attack.
---------
"Lily left her backpack, let's go see what was looking for." Jake snaked over the the backpack, rubbing the marks on his arms.
"What could a thirteen year old girl have in her backpack?" Logan asked Claire.
"You never know Logan." She replied.
They pulled the zippers apart, removed her lunch box, and found what she needed.
"Oh ... kay! Three pocket knives!" Jake took one, flipped it open, and examined the fine weapon.
They grabbed one per person and started cutting their bonds.
"Why would your sister have pocket knives in her backpack?" Claire asked Jake as she put the knife back.
"I don't know."
"Make sure you put those back." I said running towards them, keeping my knife out.
"How did you get-"
"No time to lose, I made some time for us to get out, questions later." I said, interrupting Claire.
"I'm sorry but you can escape, there is four of you and fifteen of us" said the man as he came out of a room. We turned around to see that we were surrounded by men.
"Oh... well than, Lily do you have a plan?" asked Logan. I hesitated for a while.
"We could fight. The knives aren't very sharp, umm, and we really don't have any other choices right now."
"Or you guys could just come along. We don't have to do this the hard way. We don't want any trouble and we're not going to hurt you" the man in a coat said, turning the corner.
"That's total B.S!" Logan snorted.
"Then why did you tie us up?! And why should we even believe you!" he snapped, curling his fists into balls.
"We know things about you that no one knows about, things you never even knew about yourself. You are special to us." Logan, Jake and Claire looked a little taken back from what the guy said.
"Well that made this a whole lot easier. Not. " Logan said sarcastically. Jake and Claire giggled, I stood there thinking of a plan.
"Just because you say that we're 'special' doesn't mean we believe you."
"Fine then don't, but all we really want is your sister. We'll leave and you can go home".
Logan took a step hasty forward, and tossed a puch at him, but only clipped his cheek after the guy stepped out of his way. That is what got the whole thing started. Logan kept on punching him, or at least tried too, but the 'scientist' kept dodging them. One of the men grabbed Logan and pulled him away. As I watched Logan fight, the more I realized we couldn't win even if Claire, Jake and I joined. One man then had Logan in a headlock.
"No! Stop! Let him go!" I screamed standing in front of the group.
"Come, we don't need to take this any further, your brother already proved that it's impossible to escape." the guy mocked, folding his arms over his chest.
"Never... I'm never going to stop fighting." I snarled, a strange feeling causing me to become brave.
"So be it... get them."
