4 - The Idiotic Mistake

"Lily, Lily, Lily,"

"Whaaat?" I asked sleepily.

"Claire fell asleep for weeks then Jake and I fell asleep for weeks the when I woke up, I saw you knocked out here then I started to feel stranger than before we got here, wherever here is" Logan said.

"Whoa, what kind a dream did you have?! I had a dream that you, Claire, Jake and I was captured by Jasper and-"

"That wasn't a dream!"

After he said that I sat up very fast hitting my head on something "Ow!" I said rubbing my head with my hand. what the..

"Plus we got put in dog crates"

"Where are we?"

"We're in a secret facility" said a voice.

I found a light switch and a good size rock in my pocket and threw it at the switch

"Whoa it's bright" Jake said.

"Who said that we're in school?" I asked

"I did" said the same voice, I turned around to see six other dog crates with kids in each one.

"I'm Alice, the kid to my right is Rowan, then Ethan, Alex, Astrid, and last but not least Emily" said the girl. Alice has blonde hair with black tips she looked like the youngest and looked a little tall for her age. She had brown eyes that were filled with a lot of emotion. Rowan has very light dirty blonde hair, muscular for his height and age, and had very light blue eyes. Ethan has the same color of hair as Rowan, pretty skinny, pale, light blue eyes. Alex has black hair tall, fairly muscular, deep blue eyes that almost looked black, Astrid has brown hair with blonde streaks, more muscular than average girl, almost as tall as Alex but not quite, brown eyes. Emily has brown hair, just as tall as Rowan maybe even a little taller, coffee colored eyes, skinny but not quite as skinny as Ethan and not as pale. All of them looked scared, mad, confused, and a little lost.

"Well I'm Lily to my right is Logan then Jake then Claire" I said to Alice,

"Hey, Lily, do you have anything in your pocket that might help us?" asked Rowan,

I emptied everything in my pockets which contained a paperclip, a pen, a string, and lint.

"Can I see the paper clip?" Rowan asked, I gave him the paperclip and he started messing with it.

"Lily, I feel weird" said Logan, I poked him through his cage.

"You feel like Logan"

"No my back does"

"Yeah, now that you mention it mine does too" Jake and Clare joined in.

"You guys are all new to this aren't you" Astrid sighed like she was annoyed.

"Yeah we all are" I said motioning to my brothers and Claire.

"Just for your information we're in a lab where they do experiments on anything, you guys were grafted with avian DNA so you have wings like all of us in this room or something like wings"

*Click* we all turned towards Rowan's cage "I did it!" Rowan cheered, he got out and unlocked all of our cages

"Let's get out of here" Astrid said

"Yeah!" everyone cheered as rowan unlocked all of our cage.

"Can we wait because I'm hungry, I want to go get something to eat first" I said,

"Um Lily this isn't the place to eat" said Jake rolling his eyes.

"Fine" but it wasn't really 'fine' my brothers should know by now that if I want food, I'm getting food no matter what the cost is

We got out of the room and in the hall. We started running down the hall then we saw a medium sized window "Jump and try to fly" ordered Astrid.

"Mmmm something smells good" I said slowing my pace and followed the smell

"Come on Lily we have to go!" exclaimed Logan grabbing my arm trying to pull me along.

"I'll catch up I promise" I said, Logan hesitated for a while but eventually dropped my arm and left. I don't know why I was being so stupid, but I didn't get to eat breakfast and I was starving. I'd do anything to get my stomach happy so I'm happy
