Ordinary To Extraordinary

I found myself in the kitchen "I'll cook tons of food for everyone since they probably haven't ate in a while" I whispered to myself, sothat's what I did for roughly for a half hour.

I should go now. I packed everything a bag, then ran out of the kitchen and I saw the same window the rest got out of but it was blocked by five men.

"Hey look one didn't go. Let's get it" said one man

"Did you just call me an it!?"

"Make sure that window gets boarded up good" said a different man. I took out my knife but didn't show it to them.

"Did you just leave her in there?!" Astrid asked Logan angrily

"She said she'll catch up plus the way she was acting it sounded like she had something planned"

"You're trusting what she said was true?!"

"Yeah I'm believing in her" Logan sounded a little too confidently.

"Not to change the subject or anything but, are you going to teach us how to fly?" asked Claire

"Yeah right now" replied Astrid still glaring at Logan.

I held out my knife in front of me. "Don't make me use it" I warned them.

"Hahaha, like knives are going to kill us" said one man mockingly.

I looked down, knowing I didn't have a good chance of winning but I'd rather go down trying than to give up completely. "Come and get me" I said gathering up my courage. They started to run towards me, I counted the heads of the men now there was fifteen instead of five.

I started to attack them with my knife for a good forty-five minutes, I was focusing on the guy in front of me when all of a sudden someone tripped me, I let go of my knife to catch myself, a guy came over and put his foot on my back putting pressure on it.

I collapsed on the ground and the man held my wrists behind my back "I got her!" exclaimed the man.

"Don't hurt her, we can still use her" said Jasper walking towards me, I smiled at him then looked up to the man who was holding my wrists.

"Let go of me!" I screamed.

"Or what?"

"I said let go of me!" I screamed and then the next thing I knew everyone backed away and the man let go of me, I looked around noticing I could see and hear thing ten times better than any human, I looked down to see paws.

I turned into a wolf. I was surprised, so it took awhile for me to get use to it

"Easy Lily, no one wants to get hurt now" said Jasper cautiously, I snarled and bared my teeth at him

I'll get him first, then the rest, I lunged at him but one of the men had a rope and threw it around my neck.

"Here doggy, doggy!" said a man.

I turned myself around and lunged at him, I barely caught his leg when two other men threw ropes around both of my back paws. I lunged at them almost pouncing on them when another three guys caught my front paws and my jaw.

"Good job guys, looks like she can't go anywhere" Jasper said, they threw the ropes over my back and pulled making me fall. I laid my head on the floor, acting defeated. Jasper walked over to me and knelt down beside.

"Are you going to cooperate with us or do you want us to drag you to the room?" I tried standing up but the ropes were too tight, Sid handed Jasper a muzzle, he tied the muzzle on me then connecting a rope to it, he untied my paws.

"Now get up" Jasper ordered , I got up and shook the ropes off me, they started to lead me and I figured I would get a mini tour so I went with them, tugging on the rope sometimes.

When I saw the room they were taking to me to I took my front paws and pounced on the rope making them stumble "Come on!" Edward ordered pulling the rope back but I pulled back harder making him lose the rope. I turned around and ran off but I didn't realize that the rope was long and Phil caught the rope.

"You're not going anywhere" Phil said, I tried to smile.

"Hahaha see you later" I thought

"Where did it go?!"

I ran as fast as my little paws could carry me. I ran back to my bags of food then I ran until I was ten feet from the door, I turned from a mouse back to a wolf and gave a loud howl in triumph that I had made it. I ran out the door seeing everyone there waiting.

"Fly away guys!" Astrid said and they all took off into the air. I ran into the dense forest and turned into a hawk, I flew up and out of the forest straight towards the flock.

"Whoa a hawk!" exclaimed Alice

"Um Alice that isn't an ordinary hawk" said Alex cautiously.

I transformed back into a human surprising everyone "I got lunch!" I cheered giving the bag to Logan, they all stared at me with a confused look "What?"

"You turned into a-a-a-"Claire stuttered

"Yeah I just turned into a hawk" I interrupted.

"She is up there" Jasper said coming out of the building. Several of the men had guns, hopefully they're just tranquilizer guns not guns for hunting.

"They seem mad" Claire said

"Uh yeah that's because I wasn't cooperating with them" I said looking down at them. One of them fired and it hit my wing. I screamed bloody murder as I began to fall, I tried beating my wings but it didn't help at all besides slow me down.

Jake and Logan grabbed my arms, almost pulling them out of their socket. "Drop her and we won't shoot you" Jasper called up to us but they didn't hear, or just didn't care as they tried pulling me back up. "Shoot them" he ordered, I saw the guys raise their guns but before they fired I started struggling against my brothers so they'd let me go.

"What are you doing, Lily?!" Logan yelled at me.

"They're going to shoot you if you don't let go!" I snapped

"I don't care! I need you safe and away from them, we're going back home. Jake, you and me. We'll live normally again"

A gun shot went off. It didn't hit anyone but it spooked Jake enough to drop my arm. "Logan. I'll be fine" I lied, "just go, save yourself"

"No"

Another went off and this time it hit Logan's arm, he let go of my arm. I continued to fall as two more shots fired, they both hit my wings. I cried out, tucking my wings in. Why are they still shooting?! He dropped me and yet they still shot! I guess I wasn't part of that thing.

I closed my eyes in fear that I was gonna land on the ground and die, I fell far enough to have the speed to die when I did hit the ground. But when I stopped falling, I didn't die. Someone caught me, which I'm sure was hard to do but they managed to do so.
