Chapter 11: Family reunion

"Well, hello Adeline"
I turn my head around to see...

I turn my head around to see Gene. WAIT! GENE?!
"Gene?!" I say stumbling a little in my wheelchair
"Yep it's me. Good old Gene." He says sitting beside me. I heard Aaron let out a little growl. I could tell he didn't like Gene as much as I hate him.
"So how've you been, Adeline." He says
"...."
"What? Your not gonna talk to me?"
"No I'm not. Because of what you did to me, Gene." I say quietly
Aaron
I could tell Addie didn't like this guy, I didn't either.
"Your not talking to me?" He says to Addie
"No I'm not. Because of what you did to me, Gene." She says quietly.
I've had enough of whatever this is.
"If you have something to say that's important, say it. Otherwise, leave Adeline alone." I say with anger in my voice.
Gene just laughs and then looks at me and finally says "Well, I'll listen to your boyfriend Adeline. I'll see you later." He gets up and walks away
I sigh as I sit back down and look at Addie. She's looking at the ground which means I know she isn't ok.
"Adeline, I'm sorry." I say
"No...you don't have to be..." she says looking at me.
"What stuff happened between you guys anyways?" I ask hesitantly. I knew she probably didn't want to talk about it but I wanted to be there for her. She trust me and I trust her.
"Well...it's a long story...but I'll shorten it up." She says
"I was about 13 and he was 15 and well, my father was at the bar, as usual and he say the kid there drinking from his fathers cup. He took him home one night and he lead him up to my room and he..." she stops there as the tears come down.
"Adeline, you know you don't have to talk about it if it makes you upset or uncomfortable." I say looking at her
"No it's alright. I want to talk about this..." she says pausing before she continues. "He came into my room and then he raped me...and after that night, even though he didn't know what happened, I never forgave him." She says now looking at me.
I felt anger rush to my face. I can't believe he just raped her and acted like nothing happened! Ugh! He makes me so pissed off sometimes.
Adeline
I could tell he was getting upset after I said that. I know he cares about me but it's in the past.
"Aaron, you don't have to be mad. It's in the past and-"
I was interrupted by strong arms pulling me into a hug.
We sat there like that until the bell rang for our final class. He gets up and wheels me to our next class which was WWF101. We walk in and I see a bunch of werewolves. Why does he have this class? He's not a werewolf. He wheels me over to his seat and pulls out the chair and replaces the chair with my wheelchair. I look at Aaron and ask "Why are you in a class with a bunch of werewolves if your not a werewolf?" He looks at me and says "because other classes were full so I'm stuck in this class. But don't worry, it's pretty easy."
"Alpha!" Three people said who were in front of us.
"Guys, you don't need to call me Alpha." Aaron says embarrassed.
"Aw come on alpha. We call you Alpha because...well, your our alpha!" A guy with brown hair says
"Ya Alpha! Oh! Who's this?" A girl with purple hair says
"Oh! R-right. Guys, this is my girlfriend, Adeline. Adeline, this is Daniel, Rylan, and Dotty." He says pointing to each of them.
"H-hi..." I say. I'm still trying to talk more, ok? I'm still shy...
"Hi Adeline! As Aaron said, I'm Dotty! I hope we can be good friends! Oh! Would you like our numbers?" She asks
I didn't know what to say so I look at Aaron for advice. He just simply smiles. No nods. No thumps up. Nothing. Thanks Aaron...
"Uh...sure." I say with a weak smile
"This is great! Maybe we can hang out at the beach sometime!" The guy with green hair says, Daniel I think.
"Uh...well, you guys...I won't be able to do much at all..." I say disappointed
"Why?" Dotty asks
"Well...because my legs are paralyzed. That's why I'm in this wheelchair." I say looking at my legs
"Oh wow! I've never met someone with their legs paralyzed before!" Dotty says
"What's it like?"
"Rylan! Don't ask that! It might be rude!" Dotty says
"I'm sorry Adeline. I didn't mean to upset you." Rylan says
"No it's alright. I mean, if I wanted to do it I'm sure Aaron would probably just carry me around" I say looking at Aaron who's know blushing.
"Eheh..." was all Aaron could say
"You just text my number anytime and we can make plans!" Dotty says
"Alright class settle down now. Everyone get to their seats please." Mr. Wolf says
"Oh darn. We'll talk later! Bye alpha! Bye Adeline!" Dotty says
"Bye guys!" Rylan says
"See you guys later!" Daniel says
They head back to their seats as class starts. I was paying attention when suddenly Aaron grabs my hand and gives it a squeeze.
I look at him a smile
