Drama Class

Lillith's POV:

Syd and I walked through the crowded halls to our classes. People were shoving and pushing. Laughter and chatter echoed through the big halls.

"Hey Lillith," Syd said nudging me and pointing towards the drama room.

"What?" I asked him.

"Audition for the play are already up!" He said smiling at me. "You gonna join?"

I stopped at the drama door because it was my next class.
"No way Syd, I haven't been in one in like two years. And not to mention that was a disaster."

"Dude, it's senior year! Why not? And who cares what happens youll do great, you always have." Syd said trying to convince me.

"Ill think about it," I told him "Alright ill see you after school!" I added giving him a hug.

I grabbed the handle to the decorated door and walked in. The room was huge and a few people stirred around the room, the bell hadnt hung yet but it would soon. I walked down the steps and put my bag down sitting in a seat.

"Good afternoon lillith!" Mr. Willson said cheerfully from on the stage.

"Hello Mr.Willson! What are the auditions for?" I asked.

"Ohhh! So you're interested I see?" He inquired "Well this year were doing Heathers the musical!"

"Really! Its funny ive always wanted for our school to do that musical." I laughed.

The bell rang as more students poured into the class.

Mr.Willson clapped his hands "Well, I hope I see you at auditions this Friday!" He beamed then walked to the stage again to talk to a student.

Hands shook me from behind and I jumped up. "Hey, lillith!" Dino exclaimed smiling widely.

"Oh my gosh Dino, you scared me."

"Sorry-oh hey are you joining the musical this year?!" He asked sitting down next to me.

"Im not sure, you know what happened freshman year. I dont want that to happen again." I pointed out.

"Okay, but that was freshman year. And nobody even remembers that!"

"Well obviously you remember, soo everyone else does." I mumbled getting a but angry.

"It was an accident-"

"Yeah it was but everyone thinks I meant to hurt her." I recalled "whatever, I dont want to talk about this anymore."

"Okay, thats fine." Dino assured.

The class was finally full and people were chatting on the seats and on stage.

"Hello my favourite drama students! Today we're going to go discuss our class a little but more. I know it's Thursday of our first week back but we need to get into this!" Mr.Willson declared

"A good majority of you know about our theatre production this year! Its going to be a big part of our class because almost all of you are in the musical!" A few people cheered.
