So a lot of stories(Wattpad especially) use graphics to help understand characters better. Graphics such as aesthetics, faceclaims, banners, and even Pinterest boards are used. All of these are good options, so you and your readers can understand your characters.
There are many accounts that make some of these for you, like aesthetics and banners. I myself have one of these accounts CoverCreator678 .
As helpful as these accounts are, the only person who knows your characters inside and out is you. So if you are thinking about character graphics, keep in mind that the designer can't do it exactly like you want it.
Something I do sometimes is request an aesthetic for inspiration so that when I make my own, it has multiple ideas.
But make sure that you don't change your character jus because the aesthetic isn't perfect. As pretty as an aesthetic may look, if it doesn't fit your character you can't use it.
I suggest making your own character graphics if you really want to do it right! If you need help there are YouTube videos and other resources to help you!
