After a few more hours of digging we discover the guys name is Albert Princeton. He kidnaps and kills for the thrill of it. We are currently pulling up to the scene where SWAT and military have the place surrounded. We all file out of the car. "Excuse me. You people can't be here." A soldier says. "Where is your superior?" I ask. "Right here. Colonel Alex Yander. I'm afraid he's right. You can't be here." He says. "Actually we can." He looks confused. I pull out my ID card. "Lieutenant Colonel Melody Hunt of the United Stated Air Force. The BAU is with me. We do have a right to be here just as much as you." He looks shocked. "Men listen up! This here is Lieutenant Colonel Hunt and the BAU from Quanico. Treat them well." I nod at him and we move forward. I turn towards the team and they all look shocked. Except for Aaron. We're old friends he knows about it. We continue to move towards the house. Derek kicks down the door and we go inside. Spencer and I split off down a hallway and come up to a door. I open it. There's the Unsub with four other people chained to the wall. "Freeze!!" I shout pointing the gun at Albert. He sees the rage in my colored contacts and melts to the floor in submission. Spencer cuffs him and takes him out. I go over to the women and unchain them. The medics come on and load them all on to stretchers.

"Hey, Melody. I couldn't find a pilot to fly us back. Will you?" Aaron asks. "Of course." I smile. We all board the plane and I go into the cock pit. Once everyone is seated I pull the plane out of the hanger. "Attention agents we will be taking off shortly. I will advise you to keep your safety belts on until we are in the sky. Thank you." I say over the inter com. Pretty soon we are down the runway and in the sky. "Attention agents you are now free to move about the cabin." I hear movements in the back. Spencer comes in the cock pit and sits in the co pilot seat. "How come you never told us you're Air Force?" He asks. "I tried to. Several times. But it seems that those just weren't the right times." I answer flicking on the planes external lights as the sky begins to darken. Spencer and I fall into easy conversation and we talk about everything. His high school days, his mom, he even tells me about his first love, Maeve. "Oh Spencer. I can't even imagine the heart break. Are you okay?" I ask concerned. "With each passing day it gets a little easier." He replies. I put the plane on autopilot and stand up. Then I kneel down and hug Spencer. He hugs back. When we pull away, "Hey, let's go check on everyone." I suggest. "What about the plane?" He asks worriedly. "Relax. It's in autopilot. Besides I'll only visit for a minute then come back." I reply. We walk out and to the other agents. "Hey, there's Miss Air Force. When were you gonna tell us?" Derek asked teasingly. "I tried to." I tell him. We visit for awhile until I excuse myself to fly the plane. I take a seat and put on my head phones and take the plane off auto pilot. A few minutes later JJ comes in. "So Mel. When are you gonna tell the team?" She asks. "I don't know JJ. I mean you know, but in this short time we've had I've grown so close to this team. Goodness Spencer even told me about Maeve." I whisper the last part. Her eyes widen. "I guess it means he trusts you. You do have that trust worthy personality. People just naturally feel compelled to tell you things." She says. "You're right. Thanks JJ." She smiles and leaves. Then Derek comes in. "So, tell us what?" He questions. "Where you eavesdropping?" I ask arching my eyebrows. "Um... no?" He looks guilty. "Okay, yes. But really. Tell us what?" He asks again. "Derek, in this short time I've been with you guys it feels like we've known each other for a lifetime. I'm gonna tell you guys. But when the time is right." He nods in understanding. He then pats my shoulder and leaves. "Hey kiddo." Rossi says as he takes a seat. "Hey Dave." I reply. "Listen, Hotch told me what's going on. I know you have really made an impact on this team. In the best way. We will miss you and make sure to come back safe to us." I smile and look over at him. I put the plane on auto pilot and hug him. "Thanks Dave." I say pulling away. "Anytime kiddo." he smiles and walks out. I continue to fly the plane. "Are you mad?" Aaron asks taking a seat. "No, not at all." I say looking at him. "I understand why you did. Besides I trust Dave not to say anything." I finish. "You know, I think Spencer might have a thing for you." He smirks. "What? No way." I say a small smile making its way onto my face. "Well, he's back there mumbling your name in his sleep and Derek is video taping him." We both bust out laughing and talk a little longer before he joins the team in the back. Pretty soon we are back in Quanico and I come on the intercom. "Attention Agents we are back in Quanico and will be landing shortly." After about ten minutes the plane is landed and everyone has filed off. I put the plane in the hanger and get off. Once I'm in the building I see the team in the bull pin. "Hey Mel. Come here." Derek calls me over. I see Aaron has wine pored into glasses. "To Melody. Our awesome friend who can fly!" Penelope toasts we cling out glasses and just enjoy each other's company. "Melody, is there something you'd like to say?" Aaron asks. "Guys, in this short time I've known you it feels like we've been friends for forever. You guys are already like family to me. With that said I have something kind of sad to tell you. There's been some severe conflict between Turkey and the Ukraine. The ambassador of The Ukraine has requested the US Air Force for help. I leave at the end of the month." I say solemnly. Penelope engulfs me in a hug. She's crying into my shirt. "Oh, my sugar plumb! Come back safely!!" She sobs. I rub her back soothingly. She pulls away and Derek hugs me next. "You are one brave woman." He pulls away and JJ, Rossi and Hotch hugs me next. I look at Spencer and his facial expression breaks my heart. He looks so sad. I hug him tight and he hugs me back just as tightly. He buries his face in my neck and cries. "Shh, Spencer it's okay." I comfort while rubbing his back. He pulls away. "Before you leave. Can I see your natural eye color?" I smile. I knew he'd be able to tell. I pull them out and his eyes widen. I turn towards the team and their mouths drop open. My eyes are half blue half brown. "Wow. Your eyes are cool!!" Penelope says. We all bust out laughing and continue having a good time.
