Chapter 5

Adam's POV

I sat there as Seto pushed his lips into mine. I began struggling, but he pushed me into the wall and held me steady with some supernatural force with one hand and gently held my face with the other.

I kicked Seto in the shin and he recoiled, letting go of me. I ran towards the door and tried unlocking it, but it wouldn't unlock.

"Help!" I called, banging on the door. Seto chuckled and continued banging on the door.

"Silly boy, it's soundproof!" Seto said and I knew something was off.

"You're not Seto." I said.

"Who am I?" Seto asked. Then something clicked.

Seto rsvp'd and said he couldn't make it to our wedding. So... who was Seto?

"Who are you..." I repeated.

"Like I'd tell you, silly boy!" Who called me 'silly boy'... It was... familiar...

My ex girlfriend, Memory.

"Memory..." I said. A purple mist engulfed Seto and the purple mist slowly turned into blue mist. Seto's body slowly became more feminine. The purple cape faded into blue and red hair circles around her as if a halo had entered the room. The mist began to fade and Memory descended from the air and her hood flew on.

"Sorry if I gave you a scare, silly boy!" She chuckled, wrapping her arms around me. "I became Seto's apprentice after you left me. His memory spells don't affect me, if you couldn't tell."

"That's a no-brainer." I muttered. "Your name is Memory."

"Also, sorry I had to crash your wedding. I know this is a very important day to my silly boy and I wouldn't want him to make a commitment without me!" She chuckled and stepped back, looking at me.

"Sorry, but I have some work to do at this wedding." Memory said, smiling. She muttered something and outstretched her arm, her wrist rotating. Her pointer finger extended towards me and a blue ribbon appeared at her fingertip and curled it's way through the air and wrapped around me. The ribbon disappeared and I smiled.

"Feel better?" Memory asked. I embraced her and she hugged me back.

"Much, now that you're here."
