Chapter 16

Trigger Warning: Anxiety

[Adam's POV]

"God dammit." I laughed. The others didn't seem so amused by the fangirls' antics. I went over to the couch/giant beanbag/bed? and sat down, practically sinking in. I didn't want to move, it was so comfortable.

"Mmm oh my god Ty you gotta come sit on this couch thingy."

"No thanks, you have fun over there."

"Can do." If possible, I sunk deeper into the fluffy cushion-thing. Oh my god, this is great. I could feel myself beginning to fall asleep.

[Ty's POV]

I can't believe Adam can just take everything in stride. We're basically trapped here until further notice, and he's over there falling asleep. Mitch and Jerome seemed not to mind, either, they were eating the snacks and being all cutesy together.

Meanwhile, I'm over here trying not to have a panic attack. We're stuck here. Trapped.

I sunk down the wall and wrapped my tail around my arm, my ears flattened and it seemed like the world was darkening around me... Every negative thought seemed to be amplified. My eyes shut tight, I couldn't breathe. I couldn't breathe...

I pulled my knees up to my chest. My lungs ached for breath, I tried to regain my breath but it just wasn't there... it was like I was underwater, I was underwater, I couldn't breathe...

I felt a warm hand on my ears. I flinched. I heard a soft voice in my ear,

"You'll be okay, okay? Just try to make the best of this." It was Adam's voice.

I wrapped my arms around him. I remembered how to breathe. Adam was like the life vest when my ship is sinking. I loved him so much... I began to cry.

"You'll be okay..." I buried my head in his chest and he gently stroked my ears.

"I love you, Adam..." I whispered.

"I love you too." I kissed his cheek and laid my head on his chest. The rhythmic beating of his heart and the rise and fall of his chest were so comforting...
