There were quiet times like this that allowed me to watch the world decay. I appreciated my life and how I've survived for this long. But there is some remorse after looking over bodies that were taken long before this time. The infected were not going anywhere and neither was I.
It didn't take long to become ruthless against the sight of death, but being alone didn't feel too good. Voices of people I used to know rang in my head for what feels like an eternity. There was no mercy to this world. Even nature didn't abide by man made boundaries as it retook the world around me.
Staying in a place for too long was dangerous, and so I move on, leaving behind little hints of hope to anyone left alive.
