"..don't disappoint me Shuichi." he mumbled to himself as he glanced at the monitor beside him. He could tell that his will was strong, nothing could beat the hope shuichi had been feeling this very moment. Even though someone important to the detective died by the small organizations hands, he still keeps going. Visibility trembling. A plump male with a red afro walked into the small computer room, there was a singular monitor, so there was no reason to call it that. Rather a office. "Boss, Mr. Saihara keeps.. screaming." His voice was a little confused, a confused tremble. short stutters in his tone. the plump male leaned against the desk chair that the purple haired imp had been sitting in, "So what do you wanna do about it..?" the crimson haired male continued. Kokichi looked up at him with a unsure, but more soft smile. Though there was always a twist to the smile he gave people, it wasn't sincere. No, there was always gonna be something following up to it. "I'll go down there and give him a piece of my mind! He won't dare to annoy you like that again!" kokichi said that in a more orderly childish tone, of course he couldn't always be serious it was due to his personality that he was like this, he enjoyed being a childish person. Kokichi pointed to the males chest before getting up, throwing his hands back behind his head. the crimson haired male watched as he walked off sitting in the chair watching the monitor, just as he had ordered to do earlier. If kokichi was absent, he were to be present in the computer room. Kokichi let out a small forced sigh and walked down the stairs, time to meet the detective.

Shuichi mentally sighed, placing a hand on the table in front of him. this was a smaller room, but still rather spacious. One table with a small blade, and another paper. He picked up the paper, his hand a little shaky but not to the point it was making it hard to read. which was good, he wasn't being completely useless in a situation like this. He started skimming through the page, 'Tik Tok! Times running out, well not really there's one more floor-' Shuichi snapped from his focus after he heard some footsteps coming from a stairwell to his left, it echoed throughout the room. "Who's there. . ?" Shuichi spoke aloud, whoever was there must've been there for a good reason or they wouldn't of came at all. They could've came from the elevator like the previous member had came from. But this time it was from a stairwell, why? Why was he overthinking that piece? The door opened, revealing the purple haired boy he'd been waiting so long to meet. He looked down at him, seeing that he was a lot more shorter than he seemed on the screen. This seems odd, but he didn't seem as dangerous as he was on screen. "You're not dangerous... Are you?" he spoke, not meaning for those words to get out. Kokichi looked up at him, seemingly a little more shocked than shuichi was before.
He hit a weak point, there was a reason that the purple haired male put him in this place, but not for a bad reason. he was keeping something or someone safe. "Just do your task already! You *do* wanna get out of here, right?!" Kokichi spoke, in a aggravated tone, it sounded very over exaggerated, almost like he was trying to be threatening. It did work, Shuichi jumped when he heard him shout and continued to read. This "game" the male is holding is just something to keep shuichi busy. he's going to need to properly talk it out with the male, and hope it goes his way and not the opposite.

Why.
Why was he going soft around the detective? Why did he feel like he could trust him? He didn't trust anyone, everyone was useless in his eyes. He didn't mean to shout. It was because shuichi found out the truth, quicker than anyone has before. That's explainable, he's a remarkable detective who's cleared many cases. But nothing as big as kokichis, no. It was more missing animal and people cases, nothing like this. Kokichi was shocked to see the detective figure it out that easy, when he heard the other speak up again he couldn't help but look up at him, narrowing his eyes in a annoyed manner.
"K-Kokichi.. Right? Let's talk." he gave kokichi a soft, rather worried smile as he spoke to him. That wasn't going to do anything, stop.
Stop acting like you're so strong but you're visibly trembling with fear! It's so annoying! Just stop!
Kokichi wasn't going to let the feeling of anger show, he couldn't. That would ruin everything that he has ever worked for. He will need to go through with talking to him no matter how hard it may be. "Ookay.. fine! You got your way! What do you wanna know?" he wasn't going to tell the truth behind his lies unless heavily threatened. That would get words out of him, but he didn't think shuichi had the balls to do so just by looking at him.
__
He actually wants to talk? He seemed like the type who'd love to talk so it isn't surprising, he was lucky he didn't need to pry to get him to speak. Kokichis voice sounded awfully different than it did on the video, well of course it did. Recordings sound much more different than the real thing, just like how you look different in your reflection vs photos, you'll never know how you really look, same goes for sound. He figured out a question to ask, not wanting kokichi to lie so he begun, Letting out a sigh.
"How many people are in your group..?"
"Ten! They're so loyal you best believe it!"
"Ah.. Alright. I expected more but they must be very talented to accomplish this."
"Yup yup! They most definitely are!"
"Why do you lie?"
Kokichi didn't reply, looking off to the side then back, shuichi definitely does realize he keeps hitting his weak points but doesn't comment. "It's a way of life! You know, if you're someone who smokes it's hard to quit! That's like me with lying!" That was explainable, kokichi didn't seem like one to have a tragic reason for all the lies and trust issues. But he couldn't say that for sure, he knew nothing about the short boy after all.
