Chapter 2(Beginning Of The Nightmare) Pt-01

Meera came back to the villa which she now shared with Mahendra. She absent mindedly removed her makeup, jewellery and dress. By the time she was ready for bed, it was already past midnight. So she quickly tried to fall asleep but sleep was far away.

She was feeling restless because whenever she closed her eyes all she could see was Mahendras face. After trying for 1 hour, she got up and went to the balcony of her room. The villa was situated at the top of a hill overlooking the sea. At night the view from her balcony was really breathtaking.

She was absent mindedly staring at a distance. She still couldn't understand why he hated her that much. Every time they met or ran into each other he would ignore her as if she was invisible or would have a cold expression on his face as if he was disgusted to see her.

Thinking about what he told her on their wedding night still shook her to the core. That day she decided that it was high time she had given up on him, given up on her love for him. Perhaps it's not in her destiny to be loved by the only person she loved for 8 years. She started thinking about that day when all of this drama started.

Flashback

3months back

Meera was almost done shooting for the day when Ria came running and told her that Veer was in a serious accident. Meera was numb for a few minutes. She couldn't even hear what Ria was talking.

On the way Ria told her that Veer was taken to the hospital after crashing his bike while participating in a bike race. In a blur both of them went to the hospital.

There she saw Maya aunty crying her eyes out. She was screaming at the doctors. Randheer uncle was also tryin hard to suppress his emotions and consoling her.

But what shook Meera to the core was when she heard that Veer had injured his head severely and was in coma. The doctor told them that Veer had several fractured ribs, broken his left leg. But his head injury was really serious and it was not sure when he would wake up, it may take days, months or years.

At this everyone started crying, Gracy di even Ria was crying. As they all grew up together. Maya aunty was literally wailing and even uncle had moisture in his eyes trying hard to blink his tears.

At one point doctor allowed them to see Veer from outside. But after seeing him, aunty fainted. Meera stayed there for a long time by Veer's side in between Mahi came too.

Although she knew that the brothers loved each other, Mahi didn't show it on his face. He stared at Veer for a long time with moisture in his eyes, talked to the doctors, seeing his father bowed a little.

But the problem arised when Maya aunty slapped him saying that even if her son was unconscious she would not let him take her son's right or his place. She started shouting profanities at him. Everyone felt that Maya was being really unreasonable. But Mahi didn't say anything. He just looked at her and went out.

After that day she visited Veer every other day in the hospital. In that one month whenever she got time she talked to him for hours. But suddenly one day what her masi told her shook her to the core. She felt like that the ground slipped right under from her feet......

Just confirming that Mahi is Mahendras nickname given by Meera. She used to call him Mahi when they were studying together in high school. Though Mahi was elder than her by 3years, Meera always called him by his name. Maybe it was love at first sight for her❤️❤️❤️

know that you may find first few chapters a little boring... But it is important to build the story... So plz have patience... Bcz it's gonna be a roller-coaster of emotions, love & heartbreak...
