On one hand her son was in coma and on the other hand their companys stock price was dropping rapidly because the news of Veers accident leaked...also added that she would have asked Ganga(remember Meeras cousin Gracy) to marry Veer if she (gracy) was single(at that time gracy was dating her now ex-bf)...
Even after listening to all this Meeras decision was firm that she'll never marry Veer.At last seeing that nothing was working on Meera, masi started blackmailing her emotionally saying that she(masi) treated Meera like her own daughter after the death of her parents but alas Meera didn't think her(masi) as her mother.....
Hearing this Meeras heart wavered, she felt like someone stabbed her right in the heart. Because she was only five when she lost her parents. She had no one when her masi & masa ji took her in. A few years later they adopted her. But from the very starting they treated her just like their own daughter and Meera also warmed up to them. So after so many years hearing her masi say that she (meera) didn't think her(masi) as her mother really pained her heart....

Meera helplessly nodded her head. She agreed to meet Singhanias the next day at a restaurant about their marriage. When she arrived at the restaurant the next day, what she saw made her shocked. But she got the biggest shock of her life after hearing them...
So that day unknowingly Meeras helplessness sealed her fate with the love of her life....
