Chuuya's POV

I played with the silver ring he gave me 4 years ago, gently throwing it up then catching it in my palm. The soft moonlight reflected off the small ring, giving it a glowing effect. I touched the ring, caressing the marked kanji of 'Osamu', before slipping it back onto my ring finger. It hurt me to admit it, but I missed him. I missed his soft touches, his warmth. I missed his gentle chocolate eyes, his fluffy dark brown locks under my hands, his soft lips on mine. It was making me crave him badly.

"Chuuya-san." I heard a familiar voice call out to me. It was Akutagawa, and judging by his disappointed countenance, he couldn't get past Dazai's protective charm on the boy. I got up, lightly dusting my shoulders. "It's fine, Akutagawa. We'll find some information on him to utilize his fears tomorrow. Report to me at 10 am sharp at my office. You're dismissed."

Bowing slightly, he then waved me goodbye and headed to the balcony to take off, flying back to the dormitory assigned to him. I, on the other hand, decided to roam about the streets of Yokohama for a tad bit longer, indulging in the calmness of the night. The streets were empty, the flickering streetlamps being the only sources of light.

I was strolling around under the cover of the night when a few wet drops landed on my cheeks. Rain. Then, a loud clap of thunder. Great. Awesome. Fantastic. A thunderstorm. Looking around quickly, I ran into a small nearby bar called 'Lupin'. I didn't like flying in the rain, it was wet and cold, and well, it was rain. Rain is my worst enemy after Dazai, so no.

Tucking away my wings and hiding my horns under a fedora I always have with me in case of situations like this, I ran into the bar. It was small, yes but it was comfortable. Located in a basement with no windows. To enter it, I walked down a flight of stairs, its interior is like a quiet, inconspicuous badger's nest packed with a counter, stools, empty bottles lined up against the wall, and a bartender wearing a crimson vest. Though there were no customers now, there was a bartender in a red vest cleaning the cups and organising the wines and beers. Craving for a glass or two of wine, I sat down on one of the bar stools and allowed the bartender to see me.

"Welcome to Lupin, what may I get you?" The guy was a young one, in his early twenties. He was a tall man with rust-red eyes and red hair, red like tomato red, which was slightly parted so that a small area of his forehead was visible. He also had light stubble on his chin. He looked oddly familiar, but I shrugged that thought off, for now, my mouth was literally begging for the bittersweet taste of alcohol that would dance on my tongue.

"A glass of your finest Petrus please." I laid down a few bills of hundred, enough to buy me a few bottles to drink and get me hungover for the next week. The man raised a brow but did slide me a glass of red wine. I sipped the glass of my favourite liquor, slightly losing myself to the control of alcohol but I couldn't care less.

"Rough day?" The bartender asked, trying to strike up a friendly conversation. I guess a friend to talk to would be nice, considering that Ane-san was constantly busy training hatchlings, Tachihara was busy with Gin, Hirotsu being put as a babysitter for Elise, and Akutagawa being his emo-kid self or 'Dazai-san' phase. "Yeah, my ex-lover or lover came back to me asking for forgiveness. I still love him but I can't forgive him."

"If you don't mind me asking, what happened between you two?" The man asked gently, sliding another glass towards me as I signalled for another glass.

"The bastard left me after dating me for two years. He proposed to me and promised to never leave me. Yet he still left. The stupid mackerel took my first kiss, then he left me for four fucking years. With no contact, no letter no messages no nothing then stormed back into my life expecting me to forgive and forget. Another glass!" I felt dizzy but the alcohol was so alluring, I felt myself losing sanity.

"You sure man?" The bartender asked, careful not to set off my anger if there was any.

"Sure as can be. You know what, get me another bottle!" I hiccuped. I knew I was drunk, but I could not help it, after all, it took away all my problems when I got drunk into oblivion. It's not like I would create any problems for myself.

The bittersweet taste of alcohol danced in my mouth, each sip becoming a huge gulp, each tase becoming more alluring for more. I was sure that the bar needed to close soon, or it was already closed, but the drinks kept coming and I ordered for more, eventually passing out and letting the darkness consume me.

Chuuya's POV

The night that Dazai left

"Dazai..?" I walked into the apartment my significant other and I shared. It was after a long day at work and I just arrived home, to find all his items missing. I frantically looked around the house for a clue, a letter, a reason, for leaving. However, as much as I searched, as much as I flipped the house upside down, there was nothing. He was just gone. Gone like the wind and the trust that I had in him that we built from scratch after he betrayal I had from my 'friends'. That night, I cried myself to sleep on the bed we shared, knowing that he would not come back, and he would not comfort me like he always did. I could not feel his warmth. Soon enough, I could not feel anything anymore.

Chuuya's POV

I woke up in the bar in the morning, with it cleaned up and a coat on me. I looked around. It was still closed, but a few lights were on. Placing the coat gently on the barstool, I got up and checked for all my belongings, not a single one was missing. Suddenly, I heard a voice coming from the 'Staff Only' part of the bar.

"Don't worry, nothing happened. You just passed out and I cleaned up and placed that coat on you so you won't be cold during the night. It so Yokohama after all." It was the bartender that listened to my rants. I bowed kindly and apologised for my impolite behaviour if I had any. "Nakahara Chuuya. Thank you for letting me stay the night here, I think I'll be coming here more often. Call me Chuuya." I chuckled.

"Don't stress it, Oda Sakunosuke, call me Odasaku. I'll look forward to your visits, Chuuya." The bartender, Odasaku replied, flashing me a kind smile. Lupin bar eh? I think I'll enjoy my visits.
