Chapter 15

A few months later.... Cyrus was arrested and lost his job as a cop. Adam Perry is on the run from the police.

Olivia belly keeps growing. Fitz turned himself in to the police, and now he is waiting for the day of his trial, unfortunately he has to remain in prison until the day of the trial.
Olivia went to visit Fitz... "Hi, baby... your trial is tomorrow. the lawyer is super confident. I promised you that I would help you and I'll keep it. you'll be free... you'll be able to visit your mother, you'll be able to go to the park with our daughter, you'll be able to go to the beach, go to the movies, dinner, travel... you'll have your life back." the two were very emotional. "Liv... did you say our daughter? is that it? are we going to have a girl?" "Yes..." "I love you, Liv... I love you too much." "I love you too, Fitz..."

Finally the day most awaited by Fitz, the day of the trial, arrived.
Olivia was very nervous... "Quinn, are we going to make it? "Olivia, we have a good chance. I'm going to present all the evidence to the judge... Fitz has an excellent behavior, the jurors will be thrilled with his story." Olivia was walking around... "Liv, stay calm... you're pregnant. You can't keep walking like this..." said Abby. "Abby, I'm very nervous... if Fitz is condemned, he won't be able to stay in that prison, he'll try to commit suicide again. I can't imagine that. Quinn argued that Fitz is a victim of Adam... and that he is a good man, who never got involved with anything outside the law, he did... what any son would do after knowing that his father was murdered.
Olivia was very nervous.

Fitz was very emotional and kept thinking about his father.

The judge and the jury were moved by Fitz story.

Finally, the Judge handed down the sentence... "Fitzgerald Grant... we conclude that you acted in defense of your family. you are free from the murder charge..." Fitz looked at Olivia and she was crying.... He ran to hug Olivia... "You're free, baby... free... I told you, we did it." "If it weren't for you, I would never have made it. thank you... love of my life."

A few days later... Michael and Katy fled together to another country. Michael has committed several crimes as a hacker and he does not want to face a trial.

Fitz managed to visit his mother. Fitz and Olivia bought a house to live together. They were getting ready for a romantic dinner... "Finally I'll be able to take the most beautiful woman in the world... to have dinner with me at a restaurant." he said. "It's true... but I can't get into the dress because my belly is too big." she joked.

Fitz kissed Olivia belly and said "Sophie, you can't be born today...". They left and went to the restaurant... Fitz was thinking... "Baby, what are you thinking about?" she asked. "I'm free of the charges, Cyrus is under arrest, I need to hear that Adam Perry has been arrested... so I can sleep in peace again." "Fitz, all the police are after Adam... he's going to be arrested." Fitz changed the subject... he had a surprise for her. "Liv, I want to take advantage of the fact that we're here in this restaurant to say a few things... I was a sad, lonely, hopeless, loveless, runaway man from the cop... until I met you and you changed my life. You're amazing... you're the most beautiful and brave woman I've ever met... and you're the mother of my little princess who's going to be born soon... Olivia Pope, marry me?" "Yes"...

Olivia belly was too big... but she decided to get married at the registry anyway.
Olivia and Fitz are finally married... when they arrived at the party that Abby organized for them.... Olivia began to feel a lot of pain in her belly... She yelled, "Fitz, I think Sophie gonna be born..." "Sophie decided to be born in the middle of our wedding party..." he laughed.

Fitz took Olivia in his arms, put her in the car and took her to the hospital.

Olivia entered the delivery room... Fitz was nervous walking around... A few hours later... The doctor showed up at the door... "Congratulations daddy..." Fitz entered the room crying. Olivia soon said... "Baby, our little princess was born..." "My princess... I'm a father... I'm married to the most beautiful woman in the world... I'm a free man..." he said.

Abby entered the room to meet Sophie... "Liv, Fitz... I have some news... I just found out, Adam Perry was finally arrested." Olivia held Fitz hand and said, "Cyrus is under arrest, Adam is under arrest and you are free... my love... justice has been done. I love you."
