Chapter 16

Cheryl's pov
I had to let Veronica drive my car because there is no way I was letting Toni go. Ella was hidden in some bushes not far from where we were but when she realised it was us she came back. Toni is sitting in my lap with her head in the crook of my neck every few seconds I move some hair that keeps falling onto her face and check she is breathing. I held on to her hopefully showing her that I wasn't leaving, that am still here. I sighed as I thought about everything Jason done to her...my own brother! Actually he is no brother of mine! That isn't the Jason I know, that isn't the Jason I love. tonis grip tightened around me as she started to mumble In her sleep "no- no please stop" I tightened my grip on the girl in my arms and whispered "it's ok baby am here am here your safe now he won't hurt you again" I felt tonis tears fall down my neck as I rubbed her back gently "please a-am sorry am s-so sorry I won't do it again!" Toni cried louder alerting the whole car so the rest of the girls turned to make sure everything is ok "she was doing that when she fell asleep in the room" Ella whispered worriedly I smiled at her softly and whispered "she will be ok and so will you! We are all here for you both" I reassured her she smiled and continued to stare out the window "am here toni your safe" I whispered to Toni her grip was so tight around me I thought I was going to pop but I didn't care. "C-Cheryl my b-body hurts" Toni started to silently sob on my shoulder "so much" she added I kissed the top of her head gently but stayed silent I still have to process what just happened . Everyone was silent the whole way back to the house when we pulled into my driveway there was two police cars. The serpents where talking to two police men and the other two where carrying a very bruised, bloodly and angry Jason. When Jason realised who was in the car he started to try and get away from the police and get to the car "Toni! Tell them this is a mistake!" Jason shouted Toni jolted up and looked at the boy "just stay here T" Veronica said as she got out but obviously Toni wasn't going to listen so she opened the door and slowly got out groaning in pain. I wasn't going to stop her I would just hurt her more by doing that so I just got out after her and but her arm around my shoulder to help her balance. "Thank you" Toni whispered to me I smiled at her but it quickly disappeared when Jason shouted again "Toni please! Polly's pregnant! Tell them they made a mistake! That baby can't grow up without a father!" Jason as really trying to get to us but luckily the police where strong enough to hold him. I looked down at Toni and her eyes where wide and her mouth was open with shock "she's pregnant?" Toni whispered then she looked at me. Holy shit Jason really beat the shit out of her.my blood boiled as my eyes analysed Toni's face both of her eyes where black, her soft lips where chapped and where cut in two places there was a cut on her forehead and her cheek bones where both bruised and so was her chin. Toni looked so tired and pale "Cheryl! Is he tell the truth?!" Toni shouted at me with a growl. I nodded I was going to pull her into a hug but she took off running towards Jason the police officers that where holding him stopped and tried to stop Toni but she completely dodged them and pounced onto Jason. I quickly ran to the girl who was now repeatedly punching Jason In the face "AM SORRY!" Jason screamed looking at me as I was just stood watching. I smiled crossing my arms suddenly all the police officers, the serpents and Veronica where around most of us watched smiling as Jason was knocked out and bleeding from his nose and mouth....again. Of course the police officers weren't just watching they where trying to get Toni off him but they where failing miserably it's funny really. I sighed thinking Toni would regret killing another person so I bent down next to her I expected her eyes to be red or yellow but the where just full of hate and anger "TT you need to stop now" I said carefully putting my hand on her arm she slowed down then collapsed on the floor next to Jason. "He deserved it" FP said as he ran to Toni's side. The police officers just picked Jason up and carried him into the back of there car and told us they would be in touch with us then left. "They where suspiciously easy to get rid off considering what just happened but ok then" fangs said trying to lighten the mood but it obviously didn't work I looked around but Ella thankfully wasn't here "is ella Oki? And Betty?" I asked Veronica she nodded her head and said "they are in the house" I sighed and looked over at Toni my heart aches. I should have done something sooner am so stupid for actually believing Toni would do that to me I should have known something was wrong! "Red? You ok?" I heard Veronica say snapping me out of my thoughts I finally realised that FP had picked Toni up off the floor and was now carrying her into the house "um yeh am fine" I said smiling softly turning around and quickly walking into the house so I could be with Toni. When I got into the house Toni and Betty where both still knocked out and lying on separate sofas. "What the fuck actually happened her?!" FP said angrily I sat down beside Toni and took her hand in mine after gently kissing the back of her hand. "Jason somehow got ella...we thought she was dead! Other then that all I know is that Jason hurt her... badly...obviously" I said honestly not truly knowing everything that happened. Ella stood up from sitting next to me and climbed onto Toni carefully "Ella?" Toni whispered her eyes still closed ella lay her head on Toni's chest Toni looked in pain but she wrapped her arms around the small girl "I should have done something pinky am so sorry I let this happen" Ella said on the edge of crying "it's ok E! Am fine just a bit tired Jason didn't hurt me that bad" Toni said she looked over at me and everyone else "thank you" she whispered with tears in her eyes as her grip tightened around ella. "Hey tiny um me and the boys are going to give you some time but I want you to come down to the white worm when you are feeling better" FP said placing a small kiss on Toni's forehead she smiled and nodded. As each of the boys went past they placed a small kiss on ether Toni's head or cheek when they where gone Toni sighed and closed her eyes I could see the pain in her face "Ella why don't you and Veronica go and get some icecream ?" I said looking over at Veronica who was sat next to betty with a worried look "am not-" Veronica was about to say when ella jumped up excited and said "please! I haven't had icecream in so long!" Toni put her hand over her mouth properly to stop herself from screaming in pain " am so sorry i didn't mean to hurt you" Ella said panicking and getting off Toni completely. Toni grabbed her stomach in pain but stayed silent I looked at Veronica with pleading eyes she sighed and kissed the back of betty hand then stood up. "Fine let's go" Veronica said with a fake smile I thanked her and when they left I looked at Toni seriously and said "why aren't you healing TT?" She looked away from me and whispered something but I couldn't hear her "I didn't hear you" I said gently placing my hand on her face to make her look at me she sighed and said "my wolf left me" I gasped. "Why?" I asked getting worried tears started to fill in her eyes "she couldn't take it anymore...not without you by my side" this is my fault "you can't tell ella! She thinks my wolf is tired and if she finds out she will blame herself" Toni said I nodded my head understandingly "I don't know if she will come back Cheryl I can't feel her...I feel so empty" I grabbed her hand as I started to feel tears roll down my face "I can't explain how I'm sorry I am I should have known! You would never that to me on purpose am so sorry T" I said Toni smiled at me gently and moved her hand out of mine then placed it on the side of my face. I leaned into her hand enjoying her touch "you had to believe me! If you didn't then I might not have been able to get to ella... please don't blame yourself for something you couldn't control" she said reassuring me "Cheryl um me and betty are gonna need blood" Toni said shyly I instantly rolled up my sleeves Toni sat up a little while groaning in pain "no! Not-not you" she said quickly "what? Why not?" I asked confused Toni looked away from me again "if I had even a drop of your blood it would drive me crazy... like no emotion, no pain crazy and if betty does it I will rip her head of her body" Toni said not looking at me I sighed not knowing what we where gonna do now "Toni?" A small voice spoke from across the room I looked over and betty was sitting up her eyes bright red she looked at me up and down then smiled. This is bad. "Betty it's Ok everything is fine" Toni said I helped her to stand up quickly "am so thirsty" betty said grabbing her throat and staring at me. I took a deep breath as my heart started to race "we will get you some blood just stay calm" Toni said walking to betty. Betty sighed "can I just have Cheryl's?" Betty said still not taking her eyes off mine I swallowed hard "no! Never hers!" Toni said her teeth clenched together "hey guys! We are back!" Ella shouted happily I sighed in relief as the two girls are walked into the room smiles on there faces and ice cream in there hands. "Omg your awake!" Veronica shouted happily pouncing into Betty. Betty's face dropped and her eyes went wide Veronica jumped back and said "what the fuck was that?" Betty stared at Veronica "holy shit!" Ella said With a smile then licking her ice cream "you two are mates!" Ella added Veronica's eyes widened as her head whipped back to betty who was just smiling lovingly back at her. "Wait seriously!? Like soulmates?" Veronica said standing up and backing away. Betty stood up and reached for Veronica's hand but Veronica pulled away and left the room. Betty looked at the floor Toni looked at me then quickly at the floor and whispered "go talk to her please" I agreed and followed Veronica. I looked all over the house and I finally found her in my room on my bed "why did you run out v? You have wanted to be with betty for so long now" I asked gently sitting next to her and pulling her into me for a hug "but she doesn't like me back! it's only because of her wolf that she wants to be with me! And that's not what I want!" Veronica sobbed I laughed a little "your so oblivious v betty has been in love with you for ages now! it isn't just because of her wolf. You two where made for each other...literally give her a chance v you won't regret it" I said holding her tight she whipped her face with her sleeve then sighed "ok your right I will give her a chance"
