Lyric POV
Hey dad I'm home from jasmines we cut the sleepover short

Cordell : come to the kitchen. What is this your grades are declining you not gonna make it being a doctor or lawyer with these grades

Dad stop I don't want to be a lawyer or doctor I want to chose my own not have it chosen for me

Cordell : I knew you should of found better friends

They have nothing to do with it . You just always want to make my decisions for me I'm sick of it
Lyric storms out the door and goes to the coffee shop not far away

* I'm just sick of him I just want to be myself my mom would understand she was always understand. She in the military so most of the time it's me and my dad . I just miss her so much

Lauren : hey is this seat taken

Lauren what you doing here

Lauren: I can ask you the same thing my love

I Just needed some space .

Lauren : Why what's wrong

It's just my dad is always trying to make decisions for me and it sucks

Lauren : I understand you my parents want me to follow in their footsteps but I don't want to. I'm let you know a secret I never wanted to become class president.

Grandma patty : hey where are your friends

They decided to leave early . Things came up

Grandma patty : well I'm sorry about that but you can hang out with me tonight . I got something I want to show you

Grandma patty and jasmine go to the living room and grandma patty pulls out this book

Grandma patty we look at this book  together a million times . What is different

Grandma patty cuts the back of the book and it is a cd that falls out

Grandma patty go ahead put it in the player and I will talk after

Jasmine puts it in the player and her mom and dad popped up

Preston : hey doll if you seeing this your grandma decided it was time for you to watch this

Aria: yes we are sorry we can't be there with you to see you grow up and mature in to a great young women

Preston: you probably have a lot of questions as to why we gave you up for adoption. The reason was we was scared we were involved with some people and they would hurt you to get to us so we panicked

Aria : yea we don't know if it was gonna be good or bad heck we don't even know if you will ever meet your grandma and grandpa and see this . But I just want you to know we did what we had to do to keep you safe We love you so much

Preston: you have my strength and your mother's beauty . Don't forget that doll we love you jasmine

Then the video blanks off and jasmine is completely silent

Grandma patty : this disk was left on my step by them . I didn't even know you existed until I first saw it

Why couldn't they just drop me off here in the first place instead of that place

Grandma patty: I honestly don't know it could of been cause they were scared and wasn't thinking . Your parents love you there is no question about that. I got to tell you that your parents were werewolves.

Grandma patty: you probably don't believe me but it is true and they were stealing weapons and selling it to the vampire tribe . When they found out what they did there was a price on their heads and these people don't care how they get to you they will come for your family but me and grandpa wasn't gonna go out like that

So my parents were traitors

Grandma patty: yes they were doing it to help support you and the tribe wasn't trying to help them and they didn't want help from us . That's why I been trying to keep you away from this life cause they will judge you when they find out who you are and ain't no telling what else . Cause you might not be all human like I thought you was

Grandma are my parents still alive

Grandma patty: tbh with you I don't know I tried and tried for years to get something and I got nothing

All these years I thought they just didn't want me but they were protecting me
Jasmine bust out in to tears

Patty: come here sweetie . Me and grandpa are going to continue to keep you safe always
