After the little reintroduction, Mark doesn't really come around anymore. It bothered me a little. We had a little moment of us somewhat bonding and then never shows up again. But I wasn't complaining.

The days got longer as the summer starts rolling in. Which means more parties and swimming days for everyone. Which means more times for me to be forced out to talk to people that don't know talk to me.

I curl up in my gray comforter. I could hear everyone talking about swimming today. A day wasted for me. I curl a scarred finger around the white lace curtain.

The burning Sun rays hit my eyes. My finger moves the white lace curtain back. I hear my creaky white door open. I curl up tighter.

"Aria!" Levi's voice exclaimed, cheery as can be. I groan. I felt her body slam into my queen size bed. "Let's go swimming!"

I cover my head with my pale yellow sweater arms. "No." I state into the sleeves. "Swim without me."

"Aria!" Levi exclaims louder. "You haven't swam in ages! Let's go and hang out!"

"No." I repeat.

"Levi! Just let Aria DJ!" Clem calls from downstairs. "We're wasting the summer time that we preciously have at our finger tips."

"Okay, fine!" Levi shouts back. "Come down whenever, 'kay?"

"'Kay." I agree.

Her body slowly gets up from my bed. I somewhat uncurl from my tight ball. I didn't want to get out of bed. I didn't want to go out. I didn't want to do anything.

I pull back the curtain again. The sun hits my eyes. I don't pull the white curtain back. I let my eyes adjust. White fluffy clouds roll leisurely throughout the sky. Birds fly in little circles and settle back in the giant Jacaranda tree.

I lift myself up out of my curled up ball of a blanket. I put on some black yoga pants, a light blue sweater. I slip on my black lacey gloves and grab my usual things. I lazily walk down the brown stairs and out to our pool.

"Aria came to join!" Terrence laughs. "Come on."

Levi splash the clear water at him. "Fool!" She says in her best Excalibur voice. "She's the DJ."

"Sorry. You never tell me anything." Terrence replies. He drags Levi down into the water, submerging them.

I start to set up my things on a metal lounge table. The sounds of splashing constantly played in my ears. It was a bad thing because someone came up and scared me. I scream.

The splashing stops. I felt myself falling. I heard someone calling my name. It sounded o far away. I didn't feel the tan brick crash into my body. My body jerks. My arm was caught on something. My hazey eyesight becomes clearer.

Mark became my view. His lean body was hovering over my fallen one. I blush. I blush more when I noticed what he was wearing. No shirt.

Clem's laugh broke the awkwardness. Mark sits me down on the tan bricks. "That was a lucky catch, Mark!" Clem laughs.

"Yeah. I guess." Mark agrees. He still was staring at me. Almost mesmerized by a girl who almost passed out from being scared. "Are you okay?" He asks me. A little concern was stuck to those words. "I didn't mean to scare you like that."

I lift myself up to my feet. "I'm fine. Thanks for the catch."

"Mark! Hurry up and get in here!" Terrence yells before being dunked back down under the water.

He holds out that pale hand of his. "You coming?"

"Aria doesn't like to swim. She mostly like being the DJ of the group. She plays those mad beats." Clem tells Mark. She lifts herself out of the water. She grabs both mine and Mark's hands. Oh no. "Today maybe Aria should make an acception."

Clem yanks our arms. My feet quickly lift off of the tan bricks. My head hits the water first. My body slams into the water with a loud splat! The impact forced all my air to leave my lungs.

My body nonchalantly floated to the bottom. The bright sun slowly grew to a small glowing dot. It reminded me of the stars. I held out a hand towards the dot. The Flower soundtrack played in the back of my mind. With a lazy hand, my fingers pretended to pluck off the last petal of the glowing flower.
