We return the next day. The same nurse in the same green scrubs met us at the doors. She showed us the way to Aria's room. We walked down what seemed like endless hallways and maze like turns. I could see why horror games would sometimes take place in hospitals.

The nurse quietly opens the door, as if she was going to disturb the other patients. Crystal was the first one to go in. She took slow and small steps, maybe afraid of what she may see. Levi and Terrence was the last ones to enter besides the nurse. I could hear the beeping of machines that was keeping track of Aria's vitals. I could hear Clem let out a tiny gasp through the beeping. I peer over the edge.

I gasp too. Aria laid perfectly still. A turquoise colored thin hospital gown was her new attire for now. Her pale pink hair was fanned out across the pillow. Her bare arms were turned out for everyone to see. Her hands and wrists were covered up in bandages that ended at middle of her forearm. An oxygen mask was over her mouth and nose, helping her get the oxygen that her body was barely getting. The white blanket was folded by her waist and her hands was delicately placed on top. An IV cord was stuck in by the bend of her elbow.

I could hear the nurse talking to someone but I didn't pay attention. I was concentrating more on Aria than anything else. My heart is breaking as I just stare helplessly at Aria. Levi was already next to the bed. She crouches down so her chin could be resting on the bed instead of the chair behind her. A clean and a peach color hand holds the bandaged hand.

There were are already tears streaming down Levi's clear face. "Hey, Aria." She says, so quiet that even I could barely hear it. She smiles through the sadness. "I'm happy that you're okay."

A hand raises to her lavender glossed lips. She falls back into Terrence, who sat in the chair behind her. Terrence held her close as Levi cries into his chest. Clem leans against the foot railing of the bed. Her knuckles were turning a bright pink color against the sliver metal. Crystal stood on the other side of the bed. She kept her hands in her lap but you could tell that they were squeezing tightly against each other.

I lean against the wall, a little off from where I could see everyone in the room. We all listened to the beeps from the machine and the muffled cries of Levi.

"Oh, I did not know that Aria already had visitors." Said a voice from the door way.

I glance at Levi who was sniffling and rubbing her eyes. Terrence kisses the side of Levi's head. Clem didn't move from her spot. Crystal rises to her feet. The doctor came in, taking the place of the nurse. Levi lifts off of Terrence's lap. She stumbles across the white linoleum tile to stop at Clem.

"Are you all related?" The doctor ask, looking at everyone.

"Uh... N-No. W-We're her friends." Levi answers. "Technically, the closest family she has."

"Well, as you probably all have been told. She needs a transfusion." The doctor checks his clipboard quickly. He pushes his thin wire glasses up the bridge of his nose. "The thing is, we need to have her blood shipped. Unless any of you have O+ type blood." Levi shakes her head. I saw Clem's head twitch towards the doctor, maybe glaring at him. The doctor sighs. "Does Aria have any relatives that you can contact?"

Crystal takes a step towards the doctor. She nods at Levi. Levi nods back as she tries to move Clem. I didn't notice but Clem's knuckles were turning a sickly pale white.

Crystal turns to the doctor. "We tried to call her dad, but he didn't pick up." She answers.

The doctor puts one hand over the other. "May I speak to Levi and Terrence?" He asks.

Levi whispers something into Clem's ear before leaving the room with Terrence. Crystal sits down next to Clem. The conversation from outside drifts in and out between the beeping.

"We don't have.... Three days is when.... I'm sorry that we... She might not make it."

After that, Levi cries could be clearly heard.
