Chapter two - Oops!

I heard Oliver get up and leave. When I looked up he was leaving the café with his head held high.

He had won. If love was a game he played it right. He beat me because I felt empty and he looked fulfilled. With every sharp intake of air pins, knives and daggers shot into my heart. Louis was right. I should have just left the café when he told me to. I shouldn't have stayed and let my heart be broken anymore. I thought that I could win. I thought that I was stronger then him and maybe I am but he was a better illusionist. For two years we dated and for two years he had me wrapped around his finger.

I was done with this. I needed to do something else. I needed to pull myself together. While putting only one of my earbuds I got up and walked to the counter.

"Can have a caramel latte and blueberry bagel?" I asked the guy behind the counter. See I told Oliver I was just coming for a frikin bagel.

"Coming right up! Can I have a name?" the guy replied way to happily for me right now.

"Sophia." I answered not even looking at him. I went and sat back down at my table and pulled my laptop out of my bag. "Might as well get this over with..." I mumbled while logging into my Facebook account. All of a sudden I started hating Facebook more and more. I realized I had gotten my Facebook when I was 17 (when Oliver and I started dating)just so that I could show all my friends that I was "taken" and brag about my relationship. The photos were all of me and Oliver. I couldn't stand it I slammed my laptop shut and turned on my phone. Louis had asked how it was going 20 minutes ago. I guess I didn't hear it when Oliver and I were talking.

"He won. You were right, I should have just left. Could you do me a favor and log on to my Facebook and delete everything that has to do with Oliver?" I wrote to Louis.

"Are you sure that you don't want me to just erase everything? I'm pretty sure that 99.9% of it has to do with Oliver." Louis replied. I rolled my eyes in disgust even though he couldn't see me roll his eyes at him.

"Whatever you have to do okay!?" I texted back.

"Woah! Calm down love, I was just kidding. I'll go through all the posts and only delete ones that have to do with Oliver." Louis replied.

"Sorry I snapped..." I apologized

"It's understandable." Louis replied. I was so done with today. It wasn't just that my heart felt like it's dying but it was also a rainy day in London and rain was not a happy type of weather. All I wanted to do is go back to Louis' flat and drink my latte and eat my bagel with him.

"Sophia! Your order is ready!" a woman yelled from behind the counter. I threw my bag over my shoulder and walked up. I picked up the bag with my bagel in it and my latte in one hand and texting Louis asking him if I could come back to his place with the other hand. I was so engrossed with my phone that I didn't even realize that a guy had just mopped the floor where I was about to put my foot down.

"EEEEE! OW! UMPFT." many weird sounds escaped my mouth as I slipped dropping my phone, bagel and bag on the floor and spilling my latte all over myself. My face was bright red with embarrassment when I looked down to see everything on the floor and my latte all over my white jeans and blue sweater. A young man probably about my age ran toward me.

"Oh my god! I'm so sorry ma'am. I should have put up a caution sign. Oh my god. Here I can go get paper towel and get you a new bagel and latte! Ummmm..... Oh! Here let me help you up!" The poor guys face was probably more red then mine. I took his hand and helped me get off the dirty floor. The guy was about 6'3, so a good half foot taller then me. His hair was a light brown and his eyes were bright blue. He had a smile that could light up the entire world. He was gorgeous.

"It- It's okay. I- I should have looked up from my phone." I stuttered out. I bent down and picked up my phone, luckily it wasn't cracked. This is not how I would have liked to meet this guy.

"Well let me get someone to get you another latte and bagel. Then do you want to come to the back and I can help you get some of the coffee off your clothes?" the guy asked me kindly.

"Yes, thank you." I replied. My face was probably as red as a tomato. I tucked my hair behind my ears. He smiled down at me.

"It's the least I could do." the guy replied after a small pause. "The names Jake."

"Sophia." I said back. I smiled up at him trying to in all the features of his face. His light brown hair was styled up into a quiff. His eyes were bright blue. He had dimples when he smiled. But my favorite thing about him by far was his black lip ring on the right corner of his bottom lip. He kept biting it, that's how I could tell he was nervous.

"Well I will go and get that latte and bagel and why don't you head down to the back room. It's the last door on the left." Jake motioned to a hallway.

"Sounds good. thank you." I replied flashing him a quick smile and turned on my heel making my way to the back room.
