The Unexpected

Chapter 4: One big mess

  

   Ashley's POV:
       I lay there hopeless until I'm convinced the ambulance is here for us.
    They start from the front door to take out my Godfather which is zoey's dad and place him on a stretcher, then my sister is next and they put her in the same ambulance as my Godfather, after her I'm next I can't even move or speak I look at the car when I'm out it looks completely destroyed I wonder how we were even inside cause it looks like nothing can fit in it, I'm still looking at the car and tears just keeping on rolling down my cheeks I close my eyes when I've been put in the ambulance then they give me oxygen and I cry even more, I always watched in movies when ever that thing is on your face the person is about to die, I'm scared now cause my case isn't even that serious unlike the rest of my family and they are giving me oxygen who knows what they will do to the rest, I'm still crying wondering how this happened and I hear them roll something beside me I turn to see my Brother he's badly hurt I feel like dying I wish my eyes can just close and I won't just have to bare this pain then they give him the oxygen too and check his heart beat through a heart rate monitor, seeing the reading makes me feel like hugging my brother and telling him not give up and I think the nurse noticed that I was looking at my brother and she turned my head away from him and I tried to speak but I couldn't just find my voice

  "Shhhh close your eyes" she said and used her hands to close my eyes... I just obliged cause if I open them I might just get weak and I need to be strong for my family, then the ambulance starts moving.
  I think I fell asleep cause I didn't realize when the ambulance stopped,when they brought me out of the ambulance I saw everyone they we're rolling them to a big room that had a large red sign that said Emergency, I realized that I was the one being carried to the Emergency room and the rest we're taken to different rooms but I'm sure my brother and Godfather we're taking to some room named ICU,I wanted to ask why they are being taken to different rooms but I still couldn't find my voice
  "Seems like she's OK to me" I heard someone say, of course I'm OK
   "But u have to give her some injections so she can sleep soundly and be strong by the next few hours,whenever she wakes up give her the medicine and some food OK?" I'm now wondering if I'm sleeping cause I can't see anything but I'm just hearing words
  "OK sir"
   "And make sure she's OK?"
    "Yes Sir" that was all I heard then the voices stopped. I'm sleeping but I can hear everything that's going on how weird, oh well I let it go and silently pray for my family to recover later

"Hey little girl, wake up its time to eat now" I hear someone say and I'm freaking not little, I begin to open my eyes slowly
  "Urrrgghhh to bright to bright" I complain like a little girl
   The person that woke me up is just staring at me
   "Yes I know I'm weird you can stop staring" I say and turn to look at the person, she's the same nurse that told me to close my eyes earlier

      "How u feeling" she said smiling I look at her badge and it says Nurse Chloe
    "I'm OK where's my brother" I dunno why I remember him first but I do
   "Where is he?? He's OK right!? We are twins we shouldn't be separated in times like this Nurse Chloe,bring him here, let me go I want to see my family, I'm fine soo let—" she cuts me off by placing one finger on my lips, my Sister is the person that came to mind she normally does that when I freak out.

   "Woah there shhhh calm down we are treating them...OK!?"Nurse Chloe said  "and its time for you to eat, so you will have your medicine and be strong enough to walk and go see your family"
   I sigh "fine but while I'm recovering I'll love to ask you some questions please"
      "I'm not sure I'll answer all but I'll try dear" Nurse Chloe tells me"Here enjoy" she says and brings out something like a plank from the side of my bed and its looks like a tray which she keeps my food and I'm sure I'm no longer in the emergency room cause it looks smaller than I remember
  "Where am I?"
   "Ward 102" she answered
  I get to my food I'm a foodie by the way and what I see in front of me looks really delicious, its soup more like sauce cause its with Rice so I take my spoon and start eating. I finished it in a flash didn't realize how hungry I was.
  "Didn't realize how hungry I was thanks for the food ma'am it was delicious" I say to the Nurse assigned to me
    "Ma'am? I'm still young sweetie do I look like a ma'am" she said with a small laugh
   "Well u don't I'm sorry that just came out"
    "Nurse Chloe or Chloe you can choose what ever you want to call me"
   "Chloe" I said smiling even though I've called her Nurse Chloe before I prefer Chloe
    "You much better now I can take you to see your family, let me just find out from Doctor Albert if I can"
  "OK I hope he agrees I really want to see them" i said and she leaves the room
     I love the Nurse assigned to me she's really nice,but I still wonder how this all happened. My Godfather is a very careful driver and he's the most affected in this whole thing, I feel bad for him he's like my father I don't want to lose him never.
  "We can go" Chloe's voice stops me from over thinking
  I happily get down from the bed and my back hurts a little but I'm fine.
"You OK!? You need help"
"I'm fine just want to see my family yunno"
"OK dear may I know the name"
"Ashley's the name" I said Iooking at the beautiful Nurse assigned to me
"OK so the doctor told me you can't come into the room for now, cause they are still treating them and u can't see your uncle either he's still in the ICU your sister too"
"Huh my Uncle!? And my sister what is she doing there, she's not badly hurt right!!? She's ok right!!!??? She's gonna be fine they all are right!!!!???"
She's looking at me with pity as we work to a door
  She finally speaks "I must say its one big mess dear but everything will be fine you can trust our doctors and we are here in ward 104 this is Clinton's room you can see what is going on from the little glass there" she states

     Heys guys hope you're enjoying the story, I need feedback, you can tell me when I make some errors and tell me you're loving the story or I should spice things more😉....There's more interesting things to come soo don't get tired!!!
