Mum you'd love him

A/n: I am now on summer break, so hopefully I can more frequently and not have so many of you guys upset that I haven't posted.
How's your weekend so far?

My water bottle sat beside me as I was reading my book I had brought with me to pass some time. The perfectly silky smooth cover placed in between my cold hands as I turned the page and placed my bookmark down into the page. "Hey mum, how're you feeling?" I asked as I grabbed her hand, her hands were warm surprisingly since it was barley 30 degrees in the hospital. "I feel better but I still feel like crap." She spoke softly as she hadn't had anything to drink in the past few days. "Do you want me to get you some coffee? I was going to get some for me anyway." I said getting up and placing my book down in the warm chair. "Thank you honey. Go get something to eat, you look so skinny honey." He said with the sweetest smile in years. "Thank you mum, I'll be back in 10 minutes okay." I said as I walked out looking at my phone as I had gotten a text from Gauge.

I smiled as I texted back just wait two more days and I'll be back, I'm not trying to rush back home and not take care of my mum. With that it sent as I slid it back into my jeans, a man around 27 checking me out as he stirred his coffee. "What's a beautiful gurl like you doing here at a gloomy dreadful hospital?" He said his eyes a blue-grey color and his dark curls forming small ringlets around his forehead on his soft skin, his smile daring. "I'm here with my mum, she's waiting for me, excuse me." I said politely as I brushed passed him. "Where you off too?" His accent thick as he smiled at me again. "I'm sorry I'm in a hurry." I replied as I made sure I had everything with me, walking towards the small food area in the small hospital.

"Hi can I get a footlong with some mayo and a bit of lettuce along side a bag of chips and 4 cookies please." I told the young girl behind the counter who blushed. "Yes of course." She smiled as she gave me a cup with her phone number on it. I decided to play along as I knew she had a crush on me. "Thanks love." I said as I filled up the cup and leaving with my bag. "Hey, which room is your mums?" The man said as he was waiting for me, his smile still daringly charmed me. "Why do you want to know? All you want to do is get in my pants, and besides I don't know you." I said as I walked off not long after I was pulled back.

"My name is doctor Michael and I could possibly help your mum." He said before planting a kiss on my lips. I pulled away as I walked towards the elevator, looking back to make sure he wasn't following and sure enough he was just walking toward me with slow strides. His 5'8 figure had a bit of muscle as his trousers looked good hugging his lower figure. What the actual fuck Zoe! You have someone! I thought as I pushed the button carrying the coffee tray and my drink and bag with me "here you go mum." I said as I handed her the small cup of warm happy liquid she always needed ever since I was small. "Thank you honey, I hope none of the doctors gave you trouble." She said knowing I was the only real pretty girl here in the hospital. "Actually I met a doctor... doctor Michael or mike for short." I replied as she just smiled as there was a knock on the door.

"Nicky how're you feeling today." The thick accent said as I slowly looked up and saw Michael. "Ahh it's you coffee girl." He smiled as I slightly blushed at the nickname. "This is my daughter Renée, but everyone calls her Zoe." My mom said as I gave her a look. "Oh and what is it that you do Renée?" He asked as his smile became flirty. "I'm a actress, model, and soon to be music artist and a writer." I said as I looked at him cockily. "Wow a model, who would've figured, love?" He said mocking me, my mum could feel the tension in the room as Michael continued his work. "You should be able to get back home tomorrow but he had to make sure you're able to walk still." He said glancing at me every once in awhile.

"That's great mum, you can go home and sleep and do whatever you need." I said happily as I smiled at her. "Yeah." She said softly as Michael gave me a wink and placed a small paper on the table by the door.

"Well I've never seen someone get so flustered over a simple person." My mum explained her voice smooth as I looked back at her. "What're you talking about?" I said as I saw her smile. "He's into you honey why not get with him, he's a doctor." He said as her voice came out more of a plea. "Mum I have someone already, he's everything I could ask for." I replied as I showed her a picture of Gauge.

"That's good zoe you found your own Evan Peters, hows your acting going?" She giggled knowing everything since growing up in my teen years I wanted to work with them. "Funny thing you should say that mum I'm actually working with him along with Cody and the others theyre so nice and caring." I rambled in as I felt myself blush as the what was rising. "Aww honey I'm so happy for you, he's absolutely adorable for you." My mum explained as she saw a text from him saying he missed me. "And he's missing you." She giggled as she turned my phone over for me to see. "Oh mum!" I laughed as I gently hit her arm.

Hours later I was heading back to my hotel when traffic happened and I decided to stay in traffic when the light turned green, Texas traffic wasn't as bad as LA or New York traffic and I've learned to accept it.

I parked the car as I bumped into someone I thought I'd never see again. Liam. "Zoe?" Liam said as he walked over to give me a hug. "Liam hey, gosh it's been what 4, 5 years?" I said as I chuckled in disbelief that I was there with him. "Yeah it's been awhile you could say, I've been doing great." He said smiling his perfect Charmingly bright smile. "What-What about you? You still run that record store?" He asked as he gently held my hand. "No, I gave it to Simon to own. Cherish and Simon are still in New York while I became a full time model, actress and writer and soon to be singer." I said as I began to feel slight beat in my cheeks.

"Wow look at you busy girl eh?" He said as he gently lifted my chin and pecked my lips. "Liam. I can't I'm sorry I have a boyfriend." I said as I gently pushed him away. "Oh is it that Gauge fellow, you used to date?" He asked as his smile was still there just not as bright.

"Right well, I'll give you a call if I ever wanna hang, I just got back from visiting my mum in the hospital she had an accident actually." I replied as I gave him my phone number in exchange for his. "Right well see you around Zoe." He said as he kissed me with passion and I led ya back into my hotel room without thinking.
